Until the next Time

2011- Asgard

The older I got the more powerful I got with my sorcery . I learned skills like duplication, mind control, making someone see illusions, telekinesis, hypnosis, invisibility, and even temporarily transferring my powers to someone else, (I had to practice on Thor to perfect that skill.)

Loki learned them too, but he didn't have much practice because of all the talks him and Odin began having. You would think that's exactly what Loki wanted but after every chat with Odin he looked very agitated.

It seemed Loki's bitterness grew with him. He started shutting everybody out , including myself. I never found out the reason though. His mind was hard to read but when I did I only felt pain, so I stopped trying.

Today was Thor's crowning. I really couldn't believe he would be king. It seems as though it was yesterday that Loki and I transfigured into snakes and tricked him, we all laughed about it after.

Loki wasn't taking this so well. He's my best friend and I love him but he needs to learn how to be happy for the people around him. His brother was getting crowned and all he had on his mind was jealousy.

I, on the other hand, was smiling. Thor has always been there for me whenever I needed him most, he deserves this.

Odin started the ceremony, it was going well. Thor was just about to become king when there was several loud bangs. I spotted a slight grin on Loki, About time, I read this thoughts. This time was easy and unusual.

"Frost giants." Odin stated.

Many people shrieked and gasped. Odin, Thor, Loki, and I went to Odin's trophy room. The Frost Giants weren't there and nothing was stolen.

Thor and Odin got into a fight over what they should do. Thor wanted to go and scare them so they wouldn't come back, but Odin rejected this idea completely.

Loki and I stood in the background. He didn't look surprised at all, even pleased. He tipped his head towards the door, and we both went out. He laughed and so did I.

"Have you ever seen Father yell at Thor like that?" Loki smiled.

"Have you ever seen Thor that mad? He looks absolutely pissed."

Sif, Volstagg, Fandral, and Hogun entered a room with us. Thor was raging, so much so that he flipped over a table. All while Loki had a mischievous smile. I grabbed his hand. "What are you playing at?"

"I don't know what you mean." His smile disappeared, he went to sit with Thor on some steps.

I started talking to Sif. "Disappointed, I wanted to see a ceremony."

"Everything happens for a reason, Sif." I nudged her.

For the longest time Loki had a soft expression on his face, he looked nice. It was odd but still pleasant to see.

The two brothers were discussing something.

"You think he's feeding Thor encouragement or lies?" Sif scoffed.

"You could never know these days." I bit a piece of fruit that somehow was still on the table.

"Well, has Loki talked to you?"

"You're funny, Sif, as if he would. I'll find a way to talk to him soon."

"No, no, no, I know that look!" Loki stood up, as did Thor.

"That's the only way to ensure the safety of our borders!" Thor exclaimed.

"Thor, it's madness." Loki explained.
