Colette's POV:

I went to go see Odin earlier today, I couldn't stay with him long. As for Loki, I haven't seen him at all, nor do I want to.

It's only been a day, but with Loki at rule nothing feels calm, and I think everybody has that feeling. Sif, Hogun, Volstagg, Fandral, and I all met in a room this afternoon.

Volstagg had been eating like crazy. All what I heard was smacking and chewing, it got annoying.

"Do you ever stop eating?!" I exclaimed.

He did a low chuckle, "No, I don't."

"Loki has the throne, your friend has been banished, and you have consumed four wild boar, six pheasant, a side of beef, and two casks of ale!" Fandral stated. "Shame on you, don't you care?!"

He slapped the plate away from Volstagg. Sif and Hogun got up quickly but I stayed laying down.

"Stop it! Both of you!" Sif stared at them both. "We know what we must do."

"We must move." Hogun stated.

"That's treason." Fandral said.

"More like suicide."

I stayed staring at the golden ceiling. How did Odin get so much gold in the first place? I heard the group chatter but wasn't listening, I had zoned out.

"Colette!" Hogun yelled at me.

I slowly turned my head towards him. "What?"

The group seemed tense, and Hogun didn't respond, he just put his hand over his head in disappointment. "Did you not listen to a word we've said?"

"Um, no. Was it important?" I asked annoyingly. Maybe this is why I'm not the favorite person in the group, because I'm too much like Loki, but in a really jerky way. Then at the same time I'm reasonable and nice.

He didn't answer so I read all their minds quickly. Hogun was annoyed, Fandral and Sif thought we were wasting time, and Volstagg was thinking 'why isn't anyone telling her we're going to Midgard?'

"I don't know, Volstagg, perhaps because of their pride?" I looked at Hogun. "Let's go to Midgard."

Everybody stayed still, including me. It was very awkward.

"Ok, then, lets not go to Midgard?'

"No, we must, but just like that?" Fandral asked.

"We need a plan." Volstagg found another piece of food and started eating it again.

"No shit we need a plan. Lucky for all of you, I have one." I smirked with pride. "First, we find Thor, then-"

"Wait!" Volstagg exclaimed, "Heimdall came be watching us this second."

Ironically, at that moment a guard came in. "Heimdall requires your presence."

Damn it. I should've thought about it first.

We met Heimdall and he gave us this whole speech about 'we'd be giving up everything we've done' and 'we'd defy the laws and what our king, Loki, wants'. After all that he simply said 'good'.  He left us there since he couldn't go against the king, but the Bifrost started spinning and the next thing I know, I'm on earth.

The group walked down the road, it was obvious we didn't blend it, but we simply didn't care. We were here for Thor and only him.

We actually found Thor quicker than I thought. He was with an elderly man and two girls. We knocked on the glass, and he looked immediately happy.

"My friends!" He started hugging Fandral, "And my sister!" he hugged me last.

"Sister? I thought you only had a brother." The elderly man said.

"I'm adopted, in a way." I explained poorly.

"I'm sorry you've come all this way, you shouldn't have." Thor looked at all of us.

"What? We've come to take you home." Hogun said.

"W-you know I can't go home, my father is dead because of me. I must stay in exile."

Fandral, Hogan, Volatagg, Sif, and I looked at each other, confused. I'm not sure if they knew why Thor had thought this but I automatically did. There was only one person it could've been and it was obvious who.

"Thor, your father still lives."

"But Loki-"

"Is known for lying." I blurted. Everybody looked at me. "I think that-"

Just then a loud boom came from outside. An orange hue shined on the window. We all rushed outside to see the commotion; a fire had started in a building.

There was another boom. This time louder. Our heads turned in the direction of the noise. A robot of some sort was attacking.

I don't hate Loki, but I'm starting to really dislike him. For one, he lied to me. This was probably part of his plan. And two, more than likely he sent this machine to kill Thor.

People were screaming and running.

"Come on-" Sif tried stepping forward but Thor stopped her.

"No. This is between Loki and I. I can stop this, right here and right now." Thor stated.

"I can stop that machine in a matter of seconds, Thor, don't try to be extra-" I began but only to get cut off.

"This is my battle."

He stepped forward but this lady stopped him. "Thor," she skipped in front of him, then softly kissed him.

It was very odd. I mean, out of everyone in the nine realms, he chose an earth girl who he's known for one day?

Thor went away and stood up to the machine. I couldn't hear what he was saying to it, but the robot seemed to power off, then it turned around.

"This is good, right?" Volstagg asked.

"Of course it is." Fandral scoffed.

One moment I looked away and Thor was completely fine, then the next he was flying through the air with two large scratches from his chest up to his face.

He was motionless and laid there on the ground. I can't explain how I felt. Frigga taught me how to heal certain injuries using sorcery, but because it's sorcery if I do it wrong it would make matters worse, and I don't have much experience. Any experience, actually.

His girlfriend ran to him, and cried over him. That's what I wanted to do, but I stayed back. I looked towards Sif, she was in complete shock.

"Jane, Jane, move! Let's go!" The old man yelled.

I looked towards them, then I saw Thor's hammer. It was coming straight towards us.

A smile came onto my face seconds before the hammer made contact with Thor's hand. His eyes opened and he bolted up.

The machine had no chance. Thor was going to win, and that was a fact.
