(This chapter switches POVs a lot, so I decided to just write it in 3rd person).

Error teleported back to the kitchen while Dream was asleep. He rummaged through the cabinets and began making some tea for her. He put the pot on the stove and readied the cup, then sat himself on a stool at the island.

He facepalmed when he sat down. "Gosh dang it, I forgot to tell Dream about the other's going out," he mumbled. His mind soon drifted, deciding he'd just tell her later if he remembered.

He didn't usually do this kinda thing, it almost felt like babysitting. But...it wasn't. Something about Dream made him feel different.

There's something different, he thought to himself, resting his chin on his arms. Something about her that makes me feel like I've got butterflies or something-

N-no. Nonono. Don't even think about going there. She's Nightmare's sister, he would kill me if he found out I felt like this towards her. Besides...I seriously doubt she'd like me like I do back. I'm a glitch, mistake, a destroyer, and she's...a savior...an angel I can't-

The teapot whistled in the darkness, pulling Error from his conflicting thoughts. He finished making the tea and grabbed the mug, deciding to take a walk to Dream's room to allow the tea to cool down a bit.

I wonder why...when I kissed Dream on her forehead, o-or when I caught her when she tripped, I didn't crash or anything. And in general, when I touch her, it doesn't send me down like it would for anyone else – except Nightmare of course. Perhaps it's because of their irregular souls? Or...for Dream, perhaps it's her calming and positive demeaner.

Error entered her bedroom and set the mug on her nightstand. He knelt in front of her bed, looking fondly onto her peacefully sleeping face. She looks so calm...I so badly want to...to kiss her- No, no. No. Absolutely not. She probably hasn't had her first kiss yet, and I wouldn't want to ruin that for her.

Error shook his head and stood up, slouching into the chair near the bed and resting his head against the back of his hand. He let out a sigh and looked around the room. The curtains swayed gently in the night breeze, the moonlight dancing along the floor and walls.

It's a beautiful night, isn't it?

He glanced to the balcony, remembering what had happened earlier. I wonder what Dream would've done if I hadn't come...?

Geez...why am I so concerned about her?! Are these stupid emotions playing a game with me again? I just need to rest...maybe that'll help.

Error shifted and woke up from his nap. He glanced at the clock on the wall; 3:20 am. He'd fallen asleep for 3 hours? He must have been tired.

He glanced to the side and saw Dream, peacefully sleeping, though had shifted a bit and was curled up, the blanket shifted down to her shoulders. Error smiled softly at the sight, a bit of yellow dusting his cheeks.

"What are you staring at?"

Error snapped back to reality and looked around the room, squinting through the dark to see the owner of the voice.

"It's me, stupid," Nightmare said as he stepped from the corner of the room. How'd he get there without making a sound?

Error stood up from his chair and stood in front of the bed, ready to protect Dream if necessary. "What are you doing here?" Error asked, glaring the other one down.
