After a few moments of cursing himself, he suddenly laughs. Yep, pretty sure some stranger already thinks he's a crazy person.

"I'm going to get my best friend back." He sang cheerily.

Kai then sits on the provided seats at the bus stop. He places the plastic bag next to him snatches his phone from his pocket. He dials his father's number and waits for him to pick it up.

"Hello? Hyuka, are you on your way back?" He hears his father said and some shuffling sounds in the background.

"Hi, dad! Yeah, maybe in half an hour? I don't know how long the next bus will arrive." He responds as he glances at his wristwatch.

"Alright. Just be safe and don't spend your money on some rigged claw machine again." His father sighs and Kai swears he could hear his father playfully rolling his eyes through the phone.

"Okok, no worries! Bye bye!" Kai chuckles and hangs up before his father has a chance to reply to him back.

As he was about to put his phone back into his pocket, suddenly his phone vibrated, meaning he just got a notification from someone.

Kai looks back at his phone screen and saw Taehyun's contact name from the notification. He curiously taps the notification.

Kai closes his phone and shoves it back into his pocket. The saccharine smile won't leave his lips, "I'm going to get my best friend back AND get new friends too. Nice. I love this place already."

Beomgyu nervously sits on the sofa. His back pressing against the comfortable soft pillow yet fail to soothe his anxiety. He fidgets the hem of his sweater as he bites his inner cheeks to suppress the urge to bites his lips.

Soobin is sitting in front of him. Eyes glaring on the anxious boy like daggers.

They're at Soobin's house living room. Beomgyu arrived exactly at 1:10 pm and he knew Soobin was not very pleased by it from the facial expression the tallboy made when he showed up. Soobin didn't say anything yet other than motioned him to get into the house.
