I stared up at him from beneath my long lashes, unable to resist stroking his cheek as I reached up to touch his face. He's been kind to me since I've arrived when in actuality he could have rejected me and let me carry on my lonesome.

I'm glad he accepted me, I don't think I would have been able to carry on knowing that I had found my other half in him, I think he seems to realize that.

"I think you should get off of me. " I whispered, starting up at him, unable to stop the growl that passed through my clenched teeth. He started down at me a moment more before raising off of me slowly. "I think that is wise." His velveteen voice seemed clipped and cold as he looked out of my back door window.

"You asked me last night if I was an alien...I am. You know how they continuously talk about the big can't theory?" He glanced at me and gave me a slight nod, leaning against my marble kitchen counter.

"Well... We were the cause. I don't me we as in dragons... I mean we as the ancient supernaturals... " I started at him as his face seemed to pale, even more, his eyes slightly widened.

He walked over to me, timid but curious as he looked into my eyes. "Can you show me...?" He tilted his head, his eyes seeming to glow that fiery golden shade. I blinked at him for a long moment,  shuddering at the thought of his kind possibly melting from processing unfathomable information.

"You might go crazy, or worse, your brain might melt." I shook my head at him, taking a step away, my gaze casting downwards to my marble floors.

"I've seen you turn into a dragon, and I read minds for a living even when I don't want to. I'm sure I can handle witnessing the beginning of the universe." He took a slow calculated step forward, purring as he reached out and grabbed my hand in his. I stared in his amber gaze for a long while before grabbing either side of his head, placing my thumbs over his third eye letting him see all that I've seen in rapid precision.

When I had finally let go he collapsed to my marble floor, his skin causing the stone to crack as he made contact, releasing an ear-splitting cry of pain, my mental walls getting smashed to smithereens by his tortured mental screams.

He writhed on my marble floor holding his head, panting harshly as he tried to gain control of himself. This went on for five straight minutes with no break, blood running from my ears as his mental cries caused me to scream in pain and terror.

Without warning his mental and physical screams ceased and he just laid there staring up at the ceiling, his eyes rolled to the back of his head.

*I think I broke my disco ball....*

I laid on my tabletop, pulling my hands from my ears noticing the purple blood covering the entirety of my hands. When I sat up, he seemed to jerk and sit ramrod straight his eyes wide and boring into mine.

"Nothing is as I thought... I can't wait to tell Carlisle. He's gonna freak the fuck out! " he covered his mouth glaring at me playfully. "You've TURNED ME VULGAR!" He cleaned his lips shut as he watched me laugh painfully at his antics.

It won't be too long that my internal wounds healed and that I was back on my feet. He however wanted to go back to Carlisle to tell him what he has been shown, a new light shining in his golden eyes. I was happy to go back, just so I could pull Bella's head off.

That would make me hella happy right about now, go figure!

When we arrived and he was in a deep telepathic conversation, he was begging me not to cause a situation with Bella knowing it was her he needed to tell that to.

*Oh Eddie boy, it's her you should be worried about, I'm an angel remember?*

I batted my eyelashes at him, causing him to give me his signature crooked smile, leaning down to brush his lips against my forehead as we entered his family living room.

"Great... The wench is here." Bella muttered which caused Rosalie to growl in warning at the pest. Bella's eyes turned on me and she gave me a murderous look which I returned tenfold.

"Carlisle, I just saw the expansion of the universe!!!" Edward was beyond excited and at the moment I was wondering if he finally broke, maybe I was just seeing sides of him he never showed.

Carlisle looked to me in confusion, his brow raised high, looking between the both of us. He too was wondering why Edward was so giddy being as he was always brooding.

*if Vampires can get high off of pixie dust I could say he snorted too much of it...im regretting showing him the universe.*

"I was shown something extraordinary. The humans have it all wrong about the big bang theory." He began to go on and In about the entire situation he was shown which caused Bella's entire facial features to twist up in confusion and skepticism.

"That's not true, I don't know what she showed you, but she's wrong," Bella said confidently, her eyes closed as she was lounging in none of the recliners. I didn't even look back at her, I stared at Edward as he looked at her, offended his lips slightly agape.

"Bella, shut up." He said finally, his lips twisted into a hard line, his musical voice seemed to sound like the scraping of chalk against a chalkboard. I cringed physically at the sound, placing my hands over my ears as they didn't agree with the sound.

"Excuse me? Shut up? Take your own advice Edward and listen to what you're saying! An ancient race didn't help bring the birth of the stars, it just happened." Bella shouted at him. She was fuming mad not just because she didn't believe it, but that she couldn't grasp the fact that a higher being than herself who was a part of the universal expansion, showed him something so precious and not her.

My eyes began to water because she didn't just insult me, but she insulted my family, my tribe of people who are all but near extinction leaving me to be the only one left to exist.

"How dare you...?" I whispered, standing from my seat on the couch to turn and face her, my silver serpent gaze blazing like my home's wildfires. She met my gaze head-on, defiant and cold as she hissed at me, rising from the recliner, her body shifting forward in a threatening crouch.

"How dare I? How dare you, feed him lies about something YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW!" she roared as she made her way over to me, her fingers curled into fists.

The entire family watched out spat with wide eyes, my fingers turning into talons at my sides. With one fatal strike, I swiped her head clean off, her flesh instantly turning to ribbon as my claws passed through her head. I watched as her stone body crumbled to the floor in the next instant, reaching down to drag her outside. With a coughing grunt, I exhaled fire, burning her from existence.

I stood there for a long while watching her body burn, shaking my head in sadness, if only she hadn't let her jealousy cloud her, she'd be alive right now.

I turned to the others that watched on in disbelief, Esme's facial expression hurting me the most as she sobbed tearlessly. My eyes flickered to Edwards as he gave me a pleading look, almost as if he knew what I was about to do.

*of course he does, we're connected in ways I have yet to figure out, yet.*

I had let my anger get the best of me, and for the first time in a long time, I had killed another creature.

"I...I humbly apologize for my behavior. My anger got the best of me and I killed one of your own." I bowed deeply to show just how deeply apologetic I was. Without sparing any of them a glance, I turned and walked away from them, leaving him and the rest of them to watch the tone of their family members turn into nothing but ash.

Not even his mental cries and screams got me to turn around as I wanted to be around one but myself.

*Please Eve.... I love you.*
