The Unforgettable

( Narrator's POV on Janice - the unknown character)

A sudden thought came over Janice as she walked out of Damien's room heading towards the twins bedroom. Janice questioned herself , Did Ann know about the affair and what's going on in her own house ?"

Upon entering the nursery Janice saw that the twins were both asleep but the pacifier fell out of Dani's mouth  causing her to become a little restless. So Janice put the pacifier back into the babies mouth and patted her gently off to sleep.

As Janice was in the nursery she took the letter out of her pocket and continued to read the letter " I know what's going on , I know what you've being up to. Do you think I'm stupid ?
When you come home I can smell her perfume on your clothes. Do you not care to think what you could do to our three children ... "   

As she read this letter she slowly began to remember the time when she was a little girl,  waiting for her father who never returned, missimg her father like crazy, she remembered the nights when her father and mother should argue about the affair that was going on between her dad and his new mistress. She remembered how she used to want to have a normal, complete family and this was something her father took away from her.

Coming out of the nursery Janice walks pass  Damien's room , she notices that he is fast asleep , her heart goes out to him. She realised now why she felt a strange connection with him because she had seen herself in him, this sweet, innocent child.

She suddenly thought of doing something horrible and drastic. She knew what she was about to do was wrong but she couldn't stop herself . In that moment she realized that  David didn't deserve the wonderful family that he had.

Janice then went back to the guest bedroom where her belongings were kept. She thereafter went back in the Nursery where the twins where asleep. She quickly got the   milk formula and bottle, diapers, clothes and some warm blankets and packed it into his baby bag. While getting the babies clothes she found another brown envelope which she also packed into her bag since it had Darren's information in it.

She then took both bags quickly downstairs. While walking towards the front door she passed David's Study, the door was closed but  she could hear David and the women laughing loudly, she could get the smell of alcohol coming from the study.

When Janice got to the front door of the house, she opened the door leaving her packed bag outside ( making it convenient for her ). She then went back upstairs, got into the twins nursery ensuring that Dani and Darren were both asleep. She then picked up baby Darren after wrapping him in a warm blanket. After walking out of the nursery with Darren she stood at Damien's room door looking at sleeping Damien for one last time before going. She felt hurt and numb just  looking at Damien.

She then quickly walked back down stairs, walked out the front door holding little Darren in her hands. In the car she had a spare bag. So she then opened her car door placing this little baby in her spare bag surrounded by warm blankets , she then quickly went back to get her packed bags that she left outside the house only a few minutes ago. She got back into her car and drove off without looking back never to be seen again.

( 30 minutes later )

Damien suddenly woke in a jolt and realized that he could hear his baby sister Dani crying really loud. This made him wonder "where is Janice".He could hear his father David coming up the stairs calling out for Janice but heard no reply from her.

Very curious to what was going on Damien jumped out of bed , running towards the hallway to meet his father. Upon entering the nursery they made a gruesome  discovery of finding only one baby in the cot. "So where the hell was the other baby". Upon searching their house, they realized that neither Janice or the baby was anywhere to be seen. This was a nightmare that no parent should have to endure. David's 'mistress' Katherine had being long gone by now as David quickly decided to call the police to report the kidnapping.

The police contacted the Agency under which Janice worked and within minutes the police was able to get Janice's address. In less then fifteen minutes they arrived at Janice's apartment, bombarded the doors expecting to find the baby. To their shock they find a women asleep on the couch. The police's that were trying to wake up Janice realized that she was very dazed, not sure what was going on.

A few seconds later David arrived, anxious to find his baby son. To his shock he realized that this women was not the Janice that came to his house. After a few minutes proving that she is Janice Adams , she was taken down to the police station to be questioned .

It was around the same time that Ann had found out about her missing baby. Heartache, a sense of loss, grief and anger towards David were just some of the emotions that Ann had felt.

The next morning Janice Adams had been cleared of all charges due to the fact that camera footage in Janice's apartment revealed that she never left her apartment. The camera's did however reveal a person leaving the apartment and keeping a low profile.

There was also a toxicology report from Janice's blood revealing that she was highly drugged with a strong but not lethal overdose of somekind of a sleeping tablet Janice's car was also not used during the kidnapping. All this evidence proved her innocence and that there was no way that she was anywhere near the Scott's home.

So no chargers were made against anyone.
