Madison knew that things were a mess. She knew she and Max were getting closer. She knew that they had kissed. She knew that they shouldn't have.

Madison knew she was with Tom. How she was trying to do the right thing. But it was hard. She knew she was with Tom and she was trying to be committed to him.

Madison knew something in their relationship had changed. And she didn't like it it all. She wanted to make it work. And it scared her.

Madison sat in her car as she got to work. She saw Max and sighed. He looked at her. "We need to talk about what happened," Max said.

Madison sighed as she looked at him. "Why? What do you want me to say? That I messed up? How my relationship is on the edge. And I ended up kissing you when I knew I shouldn't have. I know my relationship with Tom is being tested at the moment. And it's hard. But I'm trying to do the right thing. And make it work. And it's not easy. So can you just leave me alone?" Madison said.

Max looked to her and sighed. "You and I both know your relationship is over. Why else would you come to me? Look, I'll be at the new hotel in town. The penthouse. If you don't come tonight, I'll know you don't want me and I'll let you go,"Max said as he walked off.

Madison looked to him and groaned. Knowing it was all a mess.

Madison walked out of her classroom. She frowned as she looked to see Lola and Tom arguing. Madison knew Tom had been distant. And it scared her. She was trying to make their relationship work. But she knew how impossible it seemed. And she hated it.

Madison walked over to Lola. She looked to her and smiled. "Hey. Are you okay?" Madison asked.

Lola smiled and nodded. "I'm fine."

"Really? As it looked like you and Tom were arguing."

"We were. But it's my fault. I haven't been keeping up with my coursework. That's all. I know that you worry Mads. I do. But you don't need to worry about me. Tom is just doing his job. I know there's been tension with you and Tom. But that's fine. You can make it work. I know that you can," Lola said as Madison looked to her and smiled.

Madison knew that Lola was right. She knew that her and Tom's relationship was strained. And that there was something there stopping them. And she knew it was more than Max. And him trying to get her into bed.

Madison had no idea how Tom was actually sleeping with Lola behind her back.

Madison soon found herself outside of Max's hotel room. He looked to her and smirked. "I knew that you'd come," he said.

Madison rolled her eyes and looked at him. "Look, if we do this, we do it for one night. And that's it. It doesn't mean anything," Madison told him.

Max smirked. "That's fine by me," he said as he pulled her inside and kissed her.

Madison kissed him back as he lead over to the bed. He pushed her down and looked to her with a smirk on his face as they started undressing.

Madison had no idea how one night with Max Tyler was going to change everything.
