Playing With Fire ?Waterloo Road?

Madison got to Rachel's. She couldn't stop thinking about what she saw with Tom and with Lola. And it made her feel sick.

She knew how things were with her and Tom. Madison knew how she had messed up with him. She knew how hard it was.

She knew that she wanted to trust Tom. But she knew what she saw. And she knew that she couldn't get it off of her mind.

"I need to talk to you," Madison said as she walked into the kitchen as she saw Lola who stood eating her crumpets.

Lola looked to her and sighed. "Whatever it is, I didn't do it," she said.

Madison looked to her and smiled. "I should hope that you haven't. I saw you with Tom the other day. I saw how you were with him. I have to ask. I saw how you were with him. I need to know. Is there something going on?" She asked.

Lola looked to her and smiled. "Tom is a good man. But he is my teacher. He is with you. I would never do anything like that to you. I swear."

Madison looked to her and smiled. Madison knew that she wanted to feel relieved about it all.

Madison knew that she didn't feel as relieved as she thought that she would. And she didn't understand why.

Madison got to work and stood in the staffroom. She looked to see Max. "What do you want?" She asked.

Max looked to her and smiled. "You know what I want Madison. I know I messed up. I know it seems as if I was blackmailing you. But I swear that I wasn't" he said.

Madison sighed. "I appreciate that Max. I do. But things are just so hard right now."

"I know what I did with you and to Tom. I swear that the last thing I want is to hurt you. But we have something. And you know it," max said as he walked over to her. She looked to him and sighed.

Madison looked to him. She frowned as she realised how close that he was. He grabbed her waist and pulled her close.

She looked to him as his lips lingered above her's. She pulled away from him and shook her head. "I can't Max," she said as she pushed him away and walked off.

Madison walked into Tom's classroom. He looked to her and smiled. "Hey. Are you okay?" He asked.

Madison smiled. "I was just thinking about us and everything. I mean I know we have been distant. I think we need to try and make it work. We need to spend some time together. What do you say?" She asked as Tom stood up.

He walked over to her. He smiled as he leant in and kissed her. "That sounds like a great idea," Tom said as Madison looked to him and smiled.

She knew that she wanted to make it work. And she knew that it wasn't easy at all.

But little did she know how Tom was cheating on her.
