SOLUM// Technoblade X reader

Everyone was running, and hurrying to their house.

The guards came forward and pushed you and Priya back to 'safety'. You just couldn't help to be sad.

Technoblade came closer, and closer to the wall of people the guards made. And you just stood there. Incapable of moving. The only time you can see the love of your life, is the time when everyone is scared of him.

Why, why do they always have to ruin everything, everything you like, and desire is always something they hate or dislike. You can't do anything about this, nothing. You can stand in place until Techno finishes them off. You read about him before in books. He loves to protect the people he loves. That happened with his brothers and father. He would kill the whole village just to have you safe.

You were safe. You were safe with him and with no one else. Not with your mom not with your dad, nor Priya. You were never safe here.

Only place you'd feel safe is his arms, laying in the emerald green grass, taking in the clean air. Not the dusty crowded village where you'd be judged by all the eyes landing on you.

He was the missing piece in your life you've been searching for, he's been the one you asked for, for so long and people would kill him?

You pushed through the crowd of people and in front of them. They looked at you like you were crazy. This isn't going to be what you read in book when you were young. When the princess says a whole speech about how you should love who you want. No, you punched the guard next to you in the face and as soon as Technos horse was close enough you jumped on.

He quickly turned the horse around and nudged it into a sprint. You hugged on tightly on his waist as he rode out of the village.

You didn't bring anything. Not his book, nor any clothes. But you were sure you'd figure it out.

You were finally free. Free from all the judging eyes. Free from being a farmer. And free to love who you want.

Techno rode further away, into the forest. The adrenaline was just leaving your body now, your flexed muscles all relaxed and you put your head on Technos back. You could hear his heart beat, slowly loosing it's fast pace. You smiled to yourself and closed your eyes.

Technoblade slowed the horse down at the small river. You opened your eyes and saw that he was looking at you. You quickly let go of his waist and just looked at him for a second. He didn't have his mask on, so you could see is sharp features. The light of the forest hit his face perfectly. He looked away from you and jumped off the horse, giving you a hand to get down. You grabbed his hand and got off too landing in the ankle long grass.

"Hi." He said getting a hold of your other hand.
"Hello." You said looking into his eyes.
"I promised I'll find you." He said.
"And you kept your promise." You said.
You were here, finally the moment you've been waiting for all your life. Alone with him. In the woods. With no village on sight, no one to bother you.

You let go of his hand to sit down. His horse was drinking water from the small river. He sat next to you, looking at you, mapping your face out.

"We still need a place to settle." You said looking up at him.
"I'll figure that out. No need to worry about it Doll." He said. "Maybe we could go to Snowchester? Live with my father?" He asked.

You never met his father, but as Techno described him, he probably was really nice. It would be nice to live with him. And you like cold weather anyways, as you don't get much of that in Willowdale.

"Sure I'm in, but first we need a fireplace for tonight." You said. He nodded then stood up and walked away to get some sticks and wood to light a fire.

You layed back on the grass. The light shining through your eyelids. The sound of the river mushed up with the sounds of the horse and wind. It smelled like fresh water and leaves.

This moment was the only moment you've had in a couple years. Nothing like this exciting has happened to you ever before.

And you can do it with someone you love dearly.

You heard heavy footsteps of Techno coming towards you and dropping the wood. You opened your eyes to see him looking down at you smiling. You sat up then stood up facing him.
"I think it's enough wood for Tonight." He said. "We don't have any sleeping rolls thought." He added.
"No need, I'm just gonna cuddle with you." You said. To that he looked down blushing then kneeling down and putting the wood in a pile.

The sun was laying way under the horizon now, the moon was rising and the orange colours were turning blue.

The sound of birds became less loud and the wind settled. Techno set up the fire place and lit it, the warm air instantly hitting your face, starting to heat you up.

You sat down next to it crossing your legs. Techno say next to you putting his Cape over you.

"It's cold, wouldn't want you to get sick." He said putting a hand over your shoulder. You hummed and your eyes got heavier, slowly closing. Technoblade layed back with you snuggled up in his chest. You heard his hear beat, his breathing. This is what comfort feels like, it sure felt like it for you, finally with someone you love, cuddled up in the green grass.

Techno sighed his grip on your shoulder tightening. "I love you Y/N." He said. You opened your eyes half way to that and hummed.

"Mhm, I do too." You said drifting off to sleep, in the middle of a forest, with no one near other than him.
