Just like that, lunch was over and the teacher and I had to come get the kids from the cafeteria.

I'm excited for after work, today. I know Auston and I are just friends but I haven't been this excited to see a guy in two years.

I've been focusing on myself for the past couple years, I was in a horribly toxic relationship in my sophomore year of college. It went great for the first couple of months but then it went south and I dreaded seeing the guy, but I was too scared to break up with him because he would threaten to kill himself if I left. I eventually got enough courage to leave at around the nine month mark.

Even if nothing comes out of being friends with Auston, I'm glad to have another friend and I have no expectations of getting a romantic relationship from him.

I just got off work, now I'm waiting for Auston to show up. I'm so excited to see him.

I already told Kody that I'm hanging out with Auston tonight and to not expect me to make dinner for the two of us. I'm already expecting him to make stupid comments when I get home.
