I'm thirty seven weeks pregnant, the past few months have been fairly uneventful, the season ends in a couple weeks. I'm praying to God that if I go into labor, William isn't away for a game. But, that's what is gonna wind up happening.

Auston hasn't been very involved since the gender reveal. He'll ask about the baby every month or so, but that's about it. He didn't even show up to the baby shower.

I'm probably not gonna put him on the birth certificate. The baby's last name is gonna likely be Jameson. I wish Auston cared, but he doesn't.

Steph and Mitch have tried to get Auston more involved but they said he really doesn't pay attention to what they say.

William and I have been together for a year now, too. We haven't moved in together or anything drastic like that but he said he's gonna try to be there for me as much as he can.

He's talking about flying his family out here after the baby is born, so they can meet me. They know he's with a pregnant girl and has pretty much filled the role as step-dad. His parents are excited to meet me and the baby.

Since the gender reveal, my name has fallen out of the mouths of several blogs that follow NHL WAGs, I've been called every name in the book. It's quite amusing, actually. These people have nothing better to do than to talk shit about players girlfriends and wives, like get a life.

These creeps talking shit about me for being pregnant with Auston's baby while being with William don't really bother me. What bothers me is that these people are talking shit about Will for staying with me and bringing my child into this. I try not to pay too much attention to the hate, though. The stress isn't good for the baby.

Anyway, as for my pregnancy. I'm finally gaining weight, the baby is super healthy, they think he's gonna be around nine pounds. For the sake of my vagina, I hope not. I stopped throwing up, finally but I constantly have heartburn.

I'm also, super swollen- like I'm swollen literally all over my body. I look like Violet from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory but not blue. I've also started to see stars, which I'm gonna bring up at my appointment, today.

They're also gonna start checking me for dilation at this appointment. William is out of town for the week for games, so if anything happens, Steph agreed to be my support person.

Kody and Corey are also gonna take a week off each to help me with the baby when he's born, since Will probably won't be able to stay with me.

I've also started my maternity leave this week, so I can get everything ready for the baby and get some rest in. I'll start work again next school year, which will give me almost six months of bonding time with my baby.

I'm sad that I won't be able to see my students off and do fun end of the school year things with them, but I'll have that opportunity, next year.

Anyway, I'm at the doctor and my name just got called. I got up and followed the nurse. She handed me a cup to pee in, I went into the bathroom and peed in the cup. It's routine at this point.

After I got done doing my business, I met back up with the nurse and she weighed me and led me into the exam room.

She got the blood pressure machine out and put the cuff around my arm. It tightened up around my arm and stopped, then it re-inflated. Eventually, it deflated and my blood pressure was 205/119. Yikes.

The nurse turned the machine back on and it was still significantly high, then she resorted to taking my blood pressure manually and it was still dangerously high.

"I'm gonna be seeing what the doctor wants to do about this. You do look really swollen, have you been seeing stars in your vision, by chance?" She asked.
