Royal Rebel 2 ~ Revali X Reader

"Are you sure you're comfortable again?" Revali asked, and you nodded as you pulled the blanket around yourself. "Good. I've been missing this for the past few months." He wrapped his wings around you and climbed into the hammock with you. "You want to know something?"

"What?" You asked, your cheeks heating up as he nipped at your shoulder.

"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me." You giggled and only blushed more, and he smiled and buried his beak into your soft locks of hair. "I'm telling the truth, _____. I don't know where I'd be if you weren't here with me."

"I don't know where I would be either." You placed one hand on his back under his wing, and the other was busy petting the feathers on his head. "I haven't been able to keep you off my mind since that first day I met you."

"What can I say, I have a very unforgettable face." He said this proudly and you laughed, kissing his mark near his eye. "You've given me everything I could ever ask for. A beautiful wife, a precious daughter, and the best life anyone could be living."

"You almost sound like you're trying to rewrite our wedding vows." You giggled softly, pressing your cheek to his neck.

"Nothing can ever convey the things I want you to know. Well... except for..." He bit your neck, moving his wings lower on your back. You started laughing as your hands were slapped against his chest, and he continued to have the mini wrestling session with you.

"Re... Revali! S-Stop it!" You giggled as he started nipping at your ear, causing it to turn downward and him to have to move more to get at the tip of it. "We're gonna fall out of the hammock!"

"Who cares," He mumbled as he pulled you in enough so your body was completely pressed to his and your arms were over his shoulders. "We can finish this on the floor if we have to."

"W-We'll wake Amalia!" You tried to catch your breath, but all the laughing and panting chased you faster. "Revali!" You both finally fell out, and he managed to land on his back with you latched onto his chest. You were still laughing, waiting for him to go back to what he was doing with you, but then you felt him squeeze you tight.

"I love you so much." He whispered, and you quickly realized what he wanted. Or even more what he needed.

"I love you more." You smiled as he shifted slightly with this, nuzzling his beak into your neck.

"You can't... you can't do that..." He slowly drifted off into sleep, and you continued to snuggle with him, comfortable even while on the wooden floor beneath what was supposed to be your bed.

While Revali was his own confidence and level of sassiness, he was also just a sweet bird who wanted nothing more than a little love and affection.

Lucky you got to be the one to give it to him.

You felt yourself met with the wooden floor, no longer feeling the cushion of your rito anymore. And in the faintest of terms, crying. You went back to sleep, but not too long later you felt your body getting lifted up.

"_____, do you want to lay on the bed with Amalia for a bit or should I?" He held you in his wings, and you rubbed your eyes and yawned. "She won't go back to sleep unless one of us is with her."

"I'll lay with her." He set you down on the bed, already having pulled the blanket down for Amalia. You carefully slipped your arms under her and pulled her closer to your chest. She quickly calmed down when she realized she was in her mother's arms, and she stopped crying and was only making quiet whines.

"Come here." Revali laid down next to you and behind Amalia, and he placed his wings around you and pulled you closer to him, leaving Amalia comfortably cuddled up between her parents. "I can't possibly sleep by myself if I know I have a choice." You giggled and closed your eyes, enjoying the warm feeling of the embrace before you went back to sleep as well.
