Today, I had to say goodbye to the two friends who I'd grown so close to over the past three months.
Buddy and Mimi.
Not permanently, of course, but still. It hurt a lot. It's like when a mother's children finally move out and start living on their own. Like little children, they fought against our grips as me and my friend took them to her house.
She asked how they were still so healthy. I didn't know.
The other point I wanted to make today was the full moon: I didn't get a chance to talk about it when it was actually full (it's waning now), but it was very pretty. I even managed to get a picture with my absolutely awful phone camera.

It looks more akin to the sun than the moon from this photo. I guess that shows how it really "lights up my whole world", huh?
