Rainbow stormed in her father's office. Thank God it was sound proof.
"Dad, what were you thinking! The Wonderbolts? Really? I thought you hated them?"
"Actually, Tesoro. I don't hate them. I just used to mildly dislike them. And it wasn't my idea. It was Victor's!"
"Sir Victor's idea, which you approved!"
"Tesoro, what's so bad about this? I thought you were over that?"
She rolled her eyes, "Yeah. Just because I'm over it doesn't mean I want to work with them, oh so great father."
"Rainbow, this is for the company! The Wonderbolt's as our new endorsers are a genius move. The people trust the wonderbolt's opinion. If we hire them, the people will trust us!"
"We are doing perfectly fine! We don't need more marketing!"
Her father shook his head, "You've seen the number's, Tesoro. The market is becoming more and more saturated as time goes on. We may be doing fine now, but as soon as another company drops their prices, we'll lose so many customers."
"You said we didn't need endorsers because the quality of our aircrafts speaks for themselves." She deadpanned.
"Times change, Tesoro. People value the price more than the safety these days," He said.
She rolled her eyes, "Fine then, when are we gonna meet them?" she asked.
Her father hummed, "In an hour."
He left before she had the chance to reply.
He had the audacity to leave.
This wasn't even her office!
She didn't understand that irrational fast beating of her heart.
She moved on. Hadn't she?
At least that's what she told herself at night.
