She wore a formal suit. One that screamed extravagance. If you were to tell her five years ago that she would be flaunting her wealth, Rainbow Dash would have smacked you in the face. But as she got herself ready to meet a former friend, she felt nothing but contempt.
She knew it was wrong.
She knew she'd seem arrogant.
But she wanted to flaunt her success in their face. Show them she was better off quitting the team. That she was happier where she was right now.
She wanted to give a big "Fuck You" to Soarin and Analise.
But it seemed fate had spared her this day.

Her face was fierce, just like Rainbow Dash remembered it to be.
The captain sat across from them, wearing her uniform proudly. Oh, how Rainbow could kill to be in that position.
She knew it was a little harsh to treat Spitfire like a stranger. But how could she not? To forget about the pain meant to forget about the past. Forget about the Wonderbolts. And it wasn't like Spitfire wasn't doing the same. She was also treating her like an acquaintance. They were even.
Spitfire hadn't aged a day, until you see the almost hidden bags under her eyes.
The captain was tired.
And as wicked as it was, Rainbow Dash loved seeing it.
