When the gasps and whispers suddenly calmed down for a moment, Soobin made all the students gasp again by patting Beomgyu's head and said, "Good morning, Princess."
Beomgyu was still stunned, but his blushing expression literally screamed that he was embarrassed and mad.
Soobin chuckled at that and then he left, passing past the students and making his way to the teacher's office.
He was a few steps away when he heard Beomgyu yell his name out loud with full of frustration and embarrassment in his voice.
Their next encounter was on a Wednesday afternoon.
Beomgyu's schedule for that time of the day was PE. His class was merged with Taehyun's class as well and only God knows how many times Taehyun took the opportunity to tease him because of yesterday.
Not just that. Beomgyu also noticed a few constant glances on him at the hallway and how a room was suddenly silent then immediately blown into thousand whisperings when he came in.
As much as he loved the attention, he hated the fact that it was because of what Soobin did.
Beomgyu huffed by the thought of that while standing in the middle of the field. His head was too occupied to realize that Soobin suddenly appeared at the field as well and how almost all the students were screaming when they saw the beloved perfect prince of the school.
Well, who wouldn't scream when they saw Soobin with only their school uniform without the stuffy blazer and his sleeves were rolled up too? Soobin's reason for that was because "the weather was too hot".
He was there to examine the field for the upcoming spring festival. Though he didn't support going out of the school building on a hot afternoon just to look at the field that has already been there since the school existed but after he saw a glimpse of Beomgyu's shoulder-length hair and a few white highlights from afar, he was already smiling like an idiot.
Yeonjun was there too for some reason. He also didn't have his blazer on and his sleeves were rolled up too but his shirt wasn't tucked in and his necktie was loose. His reason was that "I wanna look hotter than the weather" and damn, he did look hot.
Yeonjun saw Taehyun and immediately waved at him with a sweet smile, somehow looking cute for a hot-looking person. Taehyun blushed at that but he only jokingly rolled his eyes and pretend he didn't see the older.
Back to the little Beomgyu who still hasn't noticed Soobin's presence that was just not so closed next to him. Beomgyu was dozing off, staring down to the grass as if it was exciting to watch.
Soobin knew he was there just to examine the field but Beomgyu's face looked more enjoyable to stare at. But sure, Soobin won't admit that.
Too busy with his own world, Beomgyu didn't notice a soccer ball flying towards him.
"Watch out!"
Before he could even look up and avoid it, a person already pulled and saved him.
It was too fast. Beomgyu didn't even get to yelp and when he looked up to his savior, he gasped. Soobin was the one that pulled him and made the ball miss from hitting him right on the face. Beomgyu didn't know how but Soobin was clutching his forearm and his other hand softly landed on Beomgyu's waist. They were closed, too closed for Beomgyu's liking and the moment when Beomgyu looked up, the only thing he noticed was how close Soobin's face was with his. Deja vu.
"Are you okay? The ball almost ruins your pretty face." Soobin asked as he unclutched his hand from Beomgyu's forearm and softly touched the smaller one's face, checking if he has hurt anywhere, his other hand still on Beomgyu's waist.
