The weekend was one you would consider hectic. Not necessarily the whole weekend but certainly Friday night. You had slept with Gojo, your ex-fiance's best friend and your boss, to get back at Geto for cheating on you all those years ago and helping out that same woman.
You felt like shit. But at the same time you didn't. You weren't thinking right that night. You shouldn't have lied to the woman who was clearly doing bad. You were so mad about the fact that he was quick to comfort her. You didn't know if you were a bad person for feeling that way.
The whole weekend consisted in you trying to avoid Geto at all cost. He texted you, attempted to call you and left a bunch of voicemail messages. You could tell how upset that was and you had to admit that you were satisfied with your actions.
"Good morning, Y/N." Gojo smiled your way and winked before going to his office. You didn't say anything and instead looked down at your paper. You didn't expect a greeting from his part, and now you realized that maybe you had fucked up.
Last thing you wanted was to actually initiate anything with Gojo of all men. Gojo was known for sleeping around, he wasn't someone you could see yourself having a future with.
"Shit." You muttered under your breath as you thought about it further. It was probably nothing and you were overreacting. He knew that you did it for revenge so it was probably nothing.
"Hey." You looked up and found that guy that offered you a chocolate bar that one time. You smiled at him, and greeted him back. You weren't sure what he wanted, so you didn't say much. He had come up to your desk so you assumed he wanted something.
"So... I need a bit of help." He began, and you raised your eyebrow wondering what he needed help with.
"With...?"
"I want to speak with your boss but he always turns me away the moment I get too close to his office." He answered, which made you nod. You sat up straight in your chair, before putting your elbows on the desk and holding your hands together.
"Your name was... Choso? Right?" You asked and he hummed in response. You stood up from your chair and walked to his secretaries' desk. You smiled at her before clearing your throat.
"He's not too busy, is he?" You asked and she shook her head. You knocked on his office door, and when he gave the green light you slightly opened the door and poked your head in.
"What's up?" He responded.
"Choso wants to speak with you, and I think you should hear him out." You answered, and he signaled you to come inside the office. You closed the door behind you, and remained standing as you watched him read some papers.
"He's the designer's assistant. His boss is driving me crazy since he wants a higher budget, but it's ridiculous. Tell him to stop trying." He responded, which made you click your tongue.
"Oh, c'mon. Just let him in and hear him out. Do that and then turn him down. He won't stop coming until he hears that." You told him which made him click his tongue.
"Fine. Let him in." Gojo gave in, and you were quick to walk out of the office to give Choso the news. Choso took his opportunity and rushed to the office to try and speak with the man.
You sat down on your desk and instead of going back to work you grabbed your phone. You sighed, reading a couple of the messages Geto had sent.
Suguru Geto
Really?
Pleaseeee just answer my calls
Let me know that you're at least alive
I know that you're pissed off but we can try to talk this out
Even Satoru is avoiding my callsYou rolled your eyes and put the phone down, deciding to go back to work. A couple of minutes passed and Choso was back at your desk. You looked up at him and smiled.
"Well... That was useless but thank you." He said. He turned to leave but before taking the first step, he turned back to you. "Actually... I was wondering if I could take you out to eat."
"Uh... When?" You asked. That caught you off guard. You had no better plans and you still appreciated that sweet gesture he made. If that were you, you wouldn't have offered your chocolate bar.
"On the weekend." He answered.
"That sounds great, Choso." You gave him a sweet smile before grabbing your phone. You unlocked it and gave it to him. "Put your number in so we can talk more about it."
-
You were stuck in the elevator with Gojo. He luckily didn't try to pull anything. He didn't even speak as you both watched the numbers go down. You wouldn't say it was awkward...
"I feel bad for your little friend... His boss sounds like a total pain." Gojo spoke up, and you chuckled.
"He probably is. I heard he's a real pain which is why his assistants always quit. I mean Choso has been coming to your office for like a month now with the same purpose." You replied.
"You should be glad that you have such a fantastic boss like me." He began, which made you roll your eyes. Without you noticing, he took a step closer to you. "I'm super cool. I let you off whenever you want and I even help you get revenge on ex-boyfriends."
"Hmm... Super cool indeed." You agreed, knowing it was pointless to fight it. His arm found its way around your waist, and he grabbed your face, turning it to look at him.
"If you want, I'll help you get more revenge." He whispered, and you blinked.
"Satoru-" You planned on telling him that you didn't really want a relationship or anything of that sort with him, but it was like he read your mind.
"I know. I don't want some type of romantic relationship with you. I'm just bored and pissing Suguru off sounds like a great pastime." He cut you off.
"I have sort of like a date with Choso on the weekend." You informed him.
"But that's the weekend, right? Today is Monday." He replied. Luckily enough the elevator doors opened before anything else happened. He let go of you, and you both walked out as if nothing had happened.
You reached the outside of the building and you both caught him. He wore black jeans with a white t-shirt, and a leather jacket. He had a cigarette between his lips, which was something you always hated. He took a long drag of his cigarette before throwing it on the floor and crushing it with his foot. He blew out the smoke before walking towards you.
"You two dating, or what?" He was quick to ask. His hands were in his back pockets, which put Gojo at ease for the moment.
"You ever heard of casual sex?" Gojo answered.
"Casual sex? Hmm..." Geto hummed in response.
"He certainly has. While we were engaged he used to have it with other women." You chimed in, which almost led to Gojo to laugh. Much different from Geto's reaction.
"You still holding it against me? It was just one woman and it has been years, Y/N. So many years." Geto scoffed, and you had the same reaction after hearing his words.
"I will hold that against you till the day you die. You were sleeping with her weeks before our wedding. Heaven knows how many times that happened." You were quick to say. "I'm not going to lie and say I'm not bitter about it, because I am. But I have the right to be bitter. The same way you're bitter because I fucked your best friend."
"God. What the hell did you want me to do? Leave her out on the streets?" He asked, and you shrugged. You looked at Gojo and tilted your head.
"Did I say anything about her?" You questioned and Gojo shook his head.
"You didn't say anything but it's obvious. For what other reason did you leave, then?" Geto looked irritated. There was no point in arguing, so in order to piss him off you grabbed Gojo's hand and began walking towards your car.
"The same reason I'm leaving now!" You yelled once you were far enough.
"Today is Monday." You looked at Gojo, and he caught the hint.
"Today is Monday." He repeated with a smirk on his lips.
