She stood atop the cliff as she looked down seeing the nation's bustling street.

"Oh my sweet Aether..why must I do this to you?" She looked up at the sky.

"But it mustn't go wrong."

"I have to make him hurt.."

Xiao and Aether decided to do commissions together.

Xiao was concerned about Aether, he had been off all morning.

The adeptus waited outside of the city while Aether came back with the list of tasks.

"Are you sure you don't want me to do it?" Xiao asked in concern.

"Yes." Aether pushed past.

Why was there attitude in his words..?

Xiao stood there in wonder.

He turned his head to face the blonde that was already almost gone from his sight.

..What's going on..?

As Aether got to the commission, he was on his guard. He could hear the rustling in the wind and bushes.

Someone's here.

"Calm down." Xiao walked out. "It's already done."

"I thought I told you to stay OUT of it!" Aether got angry.

He walked towards Xiao holding his weapon towards him.

Xiao stood still.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Are you ok..?" Xiao asked getting annoyed as to why his lover was acting like this.

"No! What the hell is wrong with you?! You always BARGE in acting like you are more powerful than me!!"

"You're NOT more powerful than me!" Aether continued as he put his sword towards Xiao's neck.

Xiao was shocked.

Aether's eyes were dark.

The blonde's eyebrows furrowed and his face went soft.

Xiao grabbed the blade and put it on the ground.

"What the fuck, Aether?! What are you doing?" Xiao was angry.

The adeptus wiped the coin sized blood off his neck.

"What is wrong with you?" Xiao asked sternly.

"I-I don't know. W-Why did I hurt you? I didn't mean to. I-I don't want to be mean to you. I-I'm sorry. I-I'm so so so sorry. I-" Aether cried out.

"Shhh.. We'll figure this out together, okay?"

Xiao held Aethers hand.

"Ah.." Aether winced and put his hand on his forehead.

"Does your head hurt?" Xiao asked caressing his head.

"Yes..but don't touch me. I don't want to hurt you again." Aether said removing Xiao's hand.

"I'm an adeptus, sweetheart. I don't believe I am afraid of anything." The Yaksha answered.

"But we need to figure out what is going on with you.."

"Maybe I should isolate myself in my own room, away from everyone and you.." The blonde looked down at the ground.

"I said I'm not afraid, and I won't be especially you."

Xiao raised Aether's chin to look at him and held his cheeks.

"You sleep in my room forever. No questions asked." There was no doubt in his words. He was demanding Aether.

Aether wrapped his arms around Xiao's waist as a way of telling him that he agreed.

As Xiao walked out of the bathroom, he saw Aether sitting on the bed.

Yellow flowers were in his hand, and he was tearing off each petal, one by one.

"What are you doing?" Xiao asked as he walked towards him.

"I'm going to try and take these flowers so I won't hurt you." Aether continued ripping off each one. "Who knows? I may hurt you in my sleep and I don't want that to happen whatsoever."

"Is that safe for you? What is it?" The adeptus got into the bed with Aether.

"Sweet flowers. Hopefully they'll heal me." Aether responded as he took a shot of water with the crushed up petals.

The glass hit the nightstand and Aether flipped over to his side to face Xiao.

"Are you sure you want to stay with me in here? I don't know what this is or where it came from." Aether asked. "It could be dangerous."

"I will always be by your side. No matter what, okay? Don't dare to think otherwise." Xiao moved the strand of hair from Aether's face.

Aether blushed.

As both of them were "sleeping", Xiao woke up to noises coming from the room.

He opened his quickly to see his lover sitting on top of him.

"Aether? What are you doing?" Xiao asked tiredly.

"You said you wanted to sleep in here with me. You get consequences of your choice."

Aether held his blade to his throat and pushed harder and harder.

Blood.

Everywhere.
