I Was Wrong: Bakugou X Reader

Y/N Pov:

After a few more days of working on my song, it was only one day before the concert and I was putting the finishing touches on my song.

No one has tried to hurt me or my music since the day that I was working on the harmony for it and I'm so glad! Even though my bullies destroyed the music and the picture that I had, I had a copy of my music at home because I expected them to try to destroy it. That's just what they were like.

I sat at the piano and spread my sheet music in front of me.

I set my fingers on the keys and played my song. I played every part of it. The only thing that I didn't do was sing.

I felt the melody vibrate in the air as my fingers glided over the keys.

I finished the song, and when I looked around, everyone was watching me.

As soon as they saw that I was looking, they all pretended to be busy.

I smiled to myself as they tried to hide their red faces.

I had everything except the name of my song done, and I'd never been more proud of one of my songs.

I played my music on loop until it was time for us to leave.

I packed up all of my things and walked home, thankful that no one tried to beat me up.

After unlocking the door, I flopped on the couch. Yuki was on the top of the couch until she decided to jump onto my head.

"Yuki!"

Yuki jumped off of the couch and abandoned me, leaving me alone on the couch.

I grabbed a blanket and wrapped myself into a burrito with only my arms sticking out so that I could go on my phone.

I was scrolling through my social media when I heard a pounding on the door.

After I untangled myself from my warm bundle of blankets, I ran to the door. I opened it, and there was Katsuki.

He walked past me and sat on the couch. I sat beside him and he frowned.

"Was there a limit to how many people can go to your concert?"

I didn't remember the teachers saying anything about that.

"They said we could bring whoever we wanted. Why?"

"Racoon Eyes wouldn't stop asking about you and I let it slip about your concert, and she invited the whole class! A class of twenty people! What was she thinking?!"

I laughed at his frustrated face and he just looked at me dumbfounded.

"What's so funny?!"

I smiled and set a hand on his shoulder which he eyed suspiciously.

"It's no big deal. They didn't give a limit, and now I'll have my own little cheering section! Plus, I'll get to meet more of your friends!"

"They're not my friends! They just follow me around!"

"Sure, Katsuki."

One look at my smug face was all that it took for him to shove me off of the couch.

I hit the ground and he had an arrogant smirk on his face.

"You need to stop doing that!"

"Nah, it's fun."

I got back onto the couch, but this time, I sat farther away from him.

"Are you ready for your performance?"

A smile found its way onto my face as I thought about performing.
