[Romantic] Sterneedle x Reader

"Oh, thank you Sterneedle" Y/N's face seemed to blush a tint, Sterneedle notices this and smirks,

"Hey, you're blushing"

"Wha- No I'm not!" Y/N would look away.

"Yes you are, you can't hide it, your face says it all"

Sterneedle held Y/N's face with a hand, making them look at them before smiling softly. "Don't look away from me, it's okay, I won't judge you for this"

"but- I-"

"shhh, you don't need to say anything about it, I understand"

"I.. Alright"

"So, what do you want to do today?"

"I haven't really thought about it, I was only planning to go out to eat somewhere alone- but then you came so-"

"so would you like to go out with me"

"I- what-"

"I mean since you want to go out and eat, why not tag me along with it, unless you'd want to eat food without me"

"Oh- uh, no I would like you to join me then! I do want somebody to eat with"

Sterneedle smiles. "So when do we go out to eat?"

"how about right now?"

"sure, where do we go?"

"Just follow me, I know a place to go, though I haven't eaten there before"

"Oh- alright, lead the way then!"

They went out of the house, Sterneedle having to lower their head again to go out, but ended up hitting their head a bit on the door frame.

"Y/N, why are you so short"

"Why are you so tall"

"I- nevermind"

They walk down the quiet street and back into the noisy roads, walking by the sidewalk together. After a bit of walking and crossing some roads, they reach the location, it was a restaurant, Sterneedle opens the door for Y/N, allowing them to go inside before following them inside. They find a table and sat down, waiting for a waiter to come.

"This is interesting- how did you find out about this place?"

"I've heard about it from some people and passed by it one day, and so I wanted to check this place out since then"

"Ah, oh! There's the waiter- wait."

"Hello what will you ord- Sterneedle?"

"Verfection what are you doing here"

"Working?"

"In a restaurant?"

"Yeah, where else can  get a job at?"

"A janitor."

"haha very funny but unlike you- I literally don't earn money and I need some because I want to buy Shard Saviour a present"

"Ohhh, I see"

"So what brings you here? You two on a date or something"

Y/N would look away and Sterneedle would look at Verfection like he's gone mad.

"I- No? I mean- If Y/N considers it as a date, then I guess-"

"A date??? Sterneedle what- Are you implying something-"

"what if I say yes"

"I- Okay this is a date now??"

"I'm so proud of what I've started here"

"shut up and take our orders, please-"

"Okay okay, go on, what would you like to order?"

Sterneedle and Y/N look at the menu and talked about it before giving Verfection their order, he nodded and walked off from their table, leaving the two alone.

"So this is a date now huh?"

"I thought you were joking when you said if you wanted to take me out, like as a date"

"I wasn't going to bring that up until Verfection HAD to say that"

"well, now things are not left hidden isn't it?"

"yeah"

"How long have you... Felt this way for me then?'

"for a while now, I didn't think much of it, but lately this has been in my mind for a while now, and when I got you that necklace, I actually wanted that I would confess to you after I gave it, but kind of got off topic and I wasn't sure if I should say it"

"Oh Sterneedle, well, I like you too... But I just never told you about it because you might not like me back..."

Sterneedle would hold Y'N's hand and smile.

"Well, now you know, that I like you too, so, I guess this is our first date now isn't it?"

"I guess so"

"Here's your food" Verfectio goes to their table and serves them their food, they spent the time talking and eating until they were finished. Sterneedle leaves Verfection a tip before running back to Y/N they both leave the restaurant, since they spent a while in there, it was now getting late and the sun was setting.

"hey, Y/N, wanna watch the sunset by the beach?"

"Ohh! Of course, I would love that"

The two headed over to the beach, it wasn't far away from Y/N's hometown as they're fairly near it, Sterneedle and Y/N sat on the warm sand, not too far away from the ocean, it was peaceful and quiet.

"it's lovely"

"you know who else is as lovely as this view? You"

"oh Sterneedle" Y/N would smile, Sterneedle got closer to Y/N, their faces close to each other. It didn't take long before Sterneedle would kiss Y/N, and finally the sun had set, it was dark. The stars would twinkle in the dark night sky, Sterneedle and Y/N go back at their place before parting ways for the night.
