~Your POV~
I sighed as I finally got the courage to reinstall Twitter on my phone. Maybe things have calmed down finally...
I sat up from laying on the couch, and logged into Twitter. First thing I saw was a ton of notifications, mainly from my friends or favorite content creators. I slide over and looked at my mentions. There were quite a few people tagging me on this one post from Adam's Twitter. Probably the face reveal...
I sighed and went back to my notifications and noticed– I was gaining a ton of followers. What was up with that...?
I decided to check out Adam's Twitter once again. I found the profile, and saw a Tweet. There was only one Tweet there now, all others were deleted... What the hell?
It was a Tweet that read 'The Truth' once again, a Twitlonger thing... I sighed, but tapped the link immediately. My eyes widened as I read it.
He revealed everything he had said was a lie. He actually admitted it, and managed to clear it up.
I looked at the responses. Many people were like 'I knew all along it was a lie' even though... They had literally unfollowed me– What the hell is wrong with people, man...
Other responses had said they still didn't like me, and/or got a weird vibe from me still, which... I didn't blame them. It's difficult to regain a content creator's trust after they've gone through a ton of issues online.
Seeing people were seeming to... Like me again, definitely made me feel a lot better about things. I could maybe stream again! Although, I wanted to let more people see the tweet before I ended up returned. I retweeted Adam's Tweet, in hopes more people would see this. I Tweeted a quick message, saying I'd maybe be returning soon.
Soon after I tweeted that, Ranboo ran downstairs.
"You saw the Tweet?" Ranboo asked.
"Yep! I might stream soon!" I smiled. Ranboo smiled widely and walked over to me.
"I'm incredibly proud of you, N/N." Ranboo said.
"Thank you..." I smiled softly.
"Want a hug?" Ranboo asked.
"Of course I do? What kind of question is that!?" I asked. Ranboo laughed a bit, and gave me a hug.
I'm sure it's clear, but I will still point it out; Ranboo and I still aren't together again. We want to try and take things slow before fully deciding if we think we want to try things again, or not. Especially since things with Adam JUST sort of stopped. Now it was time for fans to see how he really was. I was hoping it would go alright...
"Hey Y/N, I need to go to my parents house to pick up my stuff from there. I'm wondering if you'd want to come along...?" Ranboo asked.
"I didn't think you'd ask–" I laughed awkwardly.
"I know you're going to be paranoid after the whole... Stalking situation. Hell, I'm paranoid and STILL feel like we're being watched, but with Adam being caught... I highly doubt we are anymore. But because of that anxiety still... I don't want to go alone." Ranboo laughed awkwardly. I smiled a bit.
"I'll happily go with you, especially since I don't want to be alone either." I laughed awkwardly.
"Alright then! Might want to get ready then," Ranboo suggested.
"You've got a point there–" I laughed awkwardly a bit, before running upstairs to get ready.
–––––
"We're finally here," Ranboo said, stopping the car in front of the house. Jesus, it'd been a while since I was last here...
"I love this area, but at the same time... I can't stand it, with it being so close to my parent's house." I said.
"Who's?" Ranboo asked. I gave him a confused look.
"My... Parents...? You couldn't have forgotten them! The reason why I couldn't go to the UK for a month?" I said.
"OHHH! Those assholes? You STILL consider them your parents?" Ranboo snickered. I laughed a bit.
"You're not wrong about them being assholes– But, yeah. I guess I should call them by their real names, since they were never parents to me." I said.
"Exactly. Now come on, we should head in. My parents left a spare key somewhere for me, before leaving for work..." Ranboo said, looking under the mat of their house. Immediately, he found a key. "Thank God they can't hide things."
"Damn, you're nice to your parents," I laughed.
"I know I am!" Ranboo smiled proudly, opening the door. We walked in.
"Jesus, it doesn't look any different." I laughed a bit.
"It's only been like, four months since you were last here. Of course it isn't going to look much different!" Ranboo smiled.
"True..." I said. Ranboo almost immediately went to the storage room, where his streaming stuff used to be. "So, what exactly do you need if you don't mind me asking?"
"Clothes, computer, and other things. I think there might be something in here, but I'm not sure..." Ranboo said, opening the door. It was dark in there.
"Were you in here at all?" I asked.
"Only to help my parents would with things if they needed it. I don't think there's anything in here though, so it isn't important." Ranboo said, leaving the room now.
"And if there is, ask your parents to bring it home." I smiled.
"That's the plan!" Ranboo said, now going to his room.
As soon as we walked in, a wave of nostalgia hit. It hadn't even been long since I'd last been in here, but it felt like a lifetime ago... It was empty in there now, aside from some blankets on the bed, some things on the walls and in other places. The desk had Ranboo's laptop on it, and the floor was covered in clothes.
"Jesus, I didn't realize how much of a mess it was in here until now–" Ranboo laughed awkwardly.
"Need any help packing anything up?" I asked.
"I think I've got it," Ranboo said, just grabbing a handful of clothes and stuffing it into his suitcase.
"Not going to organize that?" I laughed awkwardly.
"If it fits, it's fine!" Ranboo said, managing to get everything he needed into a suitcase pretty quickly.
"Alright, whatever you say!" I laughed at him.
"Hey, could you actually carry my laptop and cords for me? I think I could carry it, but... I know you wanna help," Ranboo said. This was his way of saying he actually needed help, without SAYING he needed help.
"Yep!" I smiled, and started unplugging the charger and everything, then grabbing whatever.
"Well, ready to say goodbye for this room again, for the first time in a while?" Ranboo said, sort of smiling sadly.
"Only if you are, Boo." I said.
"Well, here comes another chapter in our lives again I guess, huh?"
"I guess so,"
