THIRD PERSON
Onjo didn't waste any time and ran towards Nabi as soon as she was free from their other friends.
Nabi welcomed her with open arms, and with that, they hugged. Onjo stopped herself from crying because of relief that her best friend slash sister was safe and alive.
"Why did you want to meet here, Vice Prez?" Jimin suddenly asks, gaining attention from the rest of the group.
Nabi took a while to answer as she was thinking of an excuse.
Saying she wanted to bid her good byes during sunset will probably make them cringe to death.
"When I came here, the helicopter arrived shortly. The rooftop is more accessible to call for help outside the campus," The tall girl explained. It was a normal explanation but Jimin still shivered in fear, finished processing how Song Nabi looks like now.
The Vice President wasn't really looking as lively as she was before. Her face was paler than usual, her right eye grey while the other one was crimson red.
To simplify, the tall girl's eyes were lifeless.
No, Song Nabi looks lifeless.
The Song Nabi they used to know as someone who's approachable seems like a very intimidating and dangerous person now.
Nabi, on the other hand, consciously held onto her skirt. She did not like how the others looked at her as if she was about to eat them when she will never, ever do that.
"U-Uh, by the way, I told the rescuers to come back for you guys. They'll be back soon." The girl cleared her throat before speaking making the group sigh in relief.
"Will they be back soon?" Daesu asked, pouting. He was exhausted, obviously from running away from a lot of zombies outside. He was also starving and thirsty, he's already imagining all the food he can eat and water he can drink at the area where the helicopter will take them.
"I hope so," the girl said, carefully sitting down beside Onjo.
Suhyeok kept on glancing at the girl, worried. He has a hunch on what the girl was planning but he doesn't want to jump to conclusions yet, he needs a confirmation.
