Me , Korra , Tenzin and his Family walk into the building. I was wearing a dress Pema said that we must be dressed up for this. I do not like wearing dress it's makes it harder to fight in but I'm used to fighting in dresses. (I suck at explaining how the dress is design so there's  a picture at the top. Also I do not own the art work.)

"I can't believe this is all for me." Korra said in aw to say the least I was also in aw it was beautiful. "I'm not sure what Tarrlok's plotting, but keep your guard up. It's not like him to throw a party just for the fun of it." Tenzin said like I would keep my guards down. I see Tarrlok walk towards us 'here we go again' I think "So glad you could make it, Avatar Korra, Master Y/N" he than look at Tenzin than said "If you'd excuse us, the city awaits its hero's"  he than takes me and Korra. "Meelo! No, that's not a toilet! Oh dear" I hear Tenzin shout at his son. "Y/N, Korra, it's my pleasure to introduce Republic City's most famous industrialist, Hiroshi Sato" "Nice to meet you" Korra said "it's a pleasure to meet you sir" I say while giving him a light bow "We're all expecting great things from you" Mr Sato says.

"Right, greatness" Korra said a little sad. I see Mako, Bolin, and a girl walks towards us she is gorgeous. I look at Korra to see that she has narrowed eyes at the girl who walks with the two brothers "Hey, Korra,
Y/N!" Mako said. Mr. Sato gestures to the girl that now stood beside him than said "This is my daughter, Asami" 'so that her name Asami indeed a beautiful name for her' I think to myself "it is a pleasure meeting you Ms. Sato" I say she looks at me and than to Korra "It's lovely to meet you. Mako's told me so much about you two" Asami said 'whoa Mako you really talked about me huh and I didn't even know' "Really? Because he hasn't mentioned you at all. How did you two meet?" Korra said a bit of jealousy in her voice. " Asami crashed into him on her moped" Boiln said speaking very quickly just like Ikki did sometimes who am I kidding that girl talks quickly more than ever sometimes. "What? Are you okay?"  Korra said slightly concerned.

"I'm fine. More than fine. Mister Sato agreed to sponsor our team; we're back in the tournament!"  "Hehe, isn't that great?" Boiln said excitedly. "Yeah, terrific" Korra with no  hit of excitement in her voice. I truned around to see a familiar figure walking by, well if it isn't the chief of police. She still looks stunning. "Chief Beifong, I believe you and Avatar Korra have already met" Tarrlok said as he put his arm around my waist. I look at him and moved a bit so that his arm no longer was around my waist and tha I was far enough that he couldn't touch me. "Just because the city's throwing you this big to-do, don't think you're something special. You've done absolutely nothing to deserve this" she in a harsh tone to Korra I just look at her I don't know why she had such a harsh tone with Korra.

Lin pov

I walk after away from Tarrlok , Korra , and Y/N. She look stunning in that dress. I saw her move away from Tarrlok when he was talking to me. I can tell that she does not like Tarrlok at all but he seem to be fond of the water bender. I look at Y/N she is stand there with a drink and some man around her probably wanting a dance or something. She looks annoyed. One of the guys even put his arm around her waist. I didn't realize that my hands were clinched in a fist, digging my nails into my palm.

I looked to see the waterbender had gotten that man off her and stared walking towards me. What am I supposed to do I can't just walk away. 'Get you shit together Lin' damn what am I supposed to do 'your Beifong come on'

Y/N pov

I looked at the chiefs who's hands are clutched into a fist so tight if she keeps it up she probably draw blood soon. I managed to get away from the man and walked towards the chief. " it's good to see you chief Beifong, I believe that we haven't properly met" I say to her.
