"Oh, hey Pema. Uh, how long were you standing there?" Korra asked while me and Pema stood there. I am helping Pema around with some stuff. "Long enough. But trust me, I know what you're going through. Years ago I was in the exact the same situation, with Tenzin" Pema said to Korra. 'Damn Pema , why didn't I know about this? You should totally tell us more' I think to myself. "Daddy was in love with someone else before you?" Ikki ask her mother surprised "That's right" Pema replied to her daughter."So what did you do?" Korra ask Pema curiously.

"Well, for the longest time, I did nothing. I was so shy and scared of rejection, but watching my soul mate spend his life with the wrong woman became too painful. So I hung my chin out there and I confessed my love to Tenzin. And the rest is history" Pema told us. 'WAIT WHAT!??! Tenzin dated Lin!!!! OMG WHAT THE FUCK!' I think to myself , seriously though what the fuck! I need to something to punch. 'Wait why am I feeling like this am I ... am I jealous , nope I can't be.'  "Nope I can't be" I say out loud and in a whispers so that no one hears me.

"Wooow!" Korra, Jinora, and Ikki say. "Well if we're done here Pema who have dinner to get to" I say to Pema. As the two of us walked to the kitchen Pema speaks up "you like someone don't you?" "Huh? What? who?" I asked confused other question 'ok Lady who are you again? Aren't you a air acolyte? Not some sort mind reader, well it looks like Pema the Mindreader is here now" I think to myself. "Oh come on Y/N , don't lie to me" Pema said both of us stopped walking at this point "I don't know what your taking about" I say as I try to walk to the kitchen. "Really so you don't like anyone ?" she asked 'spirit's Pema , who are you?' I think to myself  " I don't like anyone" I say to her picking up my pace up a bit "don't lie to yourself" Pema said.

By now we reach the kitchen. Pema walked towards me cornering me 'shit I'm trapped I'm not getting away with this am I?' " come just tell me Y/N" Pema said with a smile 'who knew she could be this scary. I'm praying to the spirit that she doesn't kill me'  "come on Pema we have dinner to make I say as I stand stand straight reaching my full height. I walked to the kitchen , I hear foot steps behind me knowing it is Pema I don't turn to face her . "Come on Y/N , you finally have someone you like don't you in all the years I know you , you never liked anyone" Pema said to I mean she's not wrong I really didn't like anyone when I was growing up no crushes or anything. I was to focus on my studies back then.

I signed , giving into her, I know Pema she won't stop till she knows. "Maybe I do like someone" I say to her as I cut the vegetable. "Really? That's great Y/N, so who is this lucky person?" Pema ask in a excited tone. I don't know if should tell her, would she be mad? Should she hate me? Would she support me? All that's questions ran in my head. I just pushed them back, Pema is a a kind person, I know she will support me. " I umm... it's ... Lin" I say to her turn towards her. Pema has this smirk on her face and I don't like the look of it "so you like Lin huh? That's something I know you two would be a nice couple" she said as she gave me a hug.

I smiled into her hug it really meant a lot to me. " Thank you, Pema it really means a lot to me" I say to her as we pulled apart "of course dear I wouldn't want anything but you to be happy you deserve it" she said to me. "But..." I start off "but what?" She asked " I don't know if she even like me and what if I asked her out and I ruin the friendship we're building?" I say to her as I cut the vegetables "it's alright just take thing slow dear" Pema tell me. I smile at that she really knows what to say.

I can feel my face heat up a bit. I think about Lin ' why did you break up with her Tenzin she's an amazing person. She's beautiful, kind, selfless. I really need to stop think about her like this.' I think to myself. I smiled at the thought of her though.
