"Where'd this Confidence come from..?"

"What about you Master Y/N?" He asked with a mischievous smirk. 'I'll wipe that smirk right off that stupid face of yours' I think to myself. "My answer still stand's" I say calmly. He looked at me surprised "as I said to you councilman , my answer is no I will not me joining your task force and that's final" I say to him as cameras flash and I turn away from the crowd and walk away.

Before I walked away fully I looked at the chief and said with a small smile "I'll see you soon" than walked away. I see Tenzin and his family standing there looking at Korra. I sigh this is going to be a long night huh. "Well It looks like Korra fell right into Tarrloks trap" I say to Tenzin "yes she has but what about you?" Tenzin said, I looked at him and sighed deeply " I don't know Tenzin I know something is up Tarrlok is planning something, I don't know what but I know it" I say to him while glaring at Tarrlok for afar.

"Are you doing alright Y/N? With what happened couple years-" I raised my hand to stop him from talking , than said " I'm fine, I would rather talk about this somewhere private if you don't mind Tenzin" "of course, we'll talk later once we get back to the Temple" I just nodded.

Lin Pov

The gala is finally over I really do hate this kinds of stuff. I look around to see people leaving but Y/N and Tenzin talking. Y/N looks stressed a bit and upset I wonder what Tenzin said to her. I really need to get out of here. As I pass by I overheard their conversation "I don't need everyone to know about him Tenzin " Y/N told Tenzin "I know Y/N but please you need to talk about it , if you keep it inside like you alway do you'll get hurt, just tell me about what happened with Tarrlok- " . 'What does Tarrlok have to do with this?' I wonder to myself.

I make it to my Satomobile and get in. I drive to my apartment thinking about Y/N and what Tarrlok had to do with her.

Y/N pov

As I sit in Tenzin office, I think about Korra she's been out the whole night again , I really hope she comes home soon she needs sleep. I must've been lost in though that I didn't notice the door open until someone spoke "Y/N? Are you alright?" Someone said as I didn't even need to look up to see who it is, I already knew it was Tenzin. "I'm fine" I say "what did you want to talk about Tenzin?" I say, getting straight to the point. "I, well, we haven't spoken since the gala and I think its time you talk it" he said to me. I refused to talk about that day, no, I can't. "I I I don't know Tenzin" I stutter out, Tenzin got up from his seat and put his hand on my shoulder "I know it's hard but please Y/N you need to let it out" I took a shaky breath in, I finally raise my head. I sigh than started talking.

Y/N was practicing her water bending at cliff. The cliff was a beautiful place be at when the sunset. Y/N looked around and sighed she just truned 26 years old a week around. Girls her age are betrothed or married but Y/N didn't want get married to a person that she barely knew. Her parents respected that and never pushed her although Y/N is a beautiful woman so she already gotten men asking for her hand in marriage at the age of 16.
