"Many of you are surely wondering why I have summoned you at this hour" and while Snape paused, the Great Hall was silent. No one moved, no one made a single sound. Some students dared to look up at him but quickly averted their gaze to the ground again. "It has come to my attention... that earlier this evening, Harry Potter was sighted in Hogsmeade", and as soon as he finished gasps erupted into the Great Hall but were silence the second Snape continued. "Now... should anyone, student or staff attempt to aid Mr. Potter, they will be punished in a manner consistent with the severity of their transgression. Furthermore, any person found to have knowledge of these events... who fails to come forward will be treated as... equally guilty. Now then" and he walked down the few steps. "If anyone here has any knowledge of Mr. Potters movements this evening, I invite them to step forward... now", he finished. He continued to look at students with a frightening look. I dared a glance at McGonagall, and she seemed totally heartbroken.

Silence.

Then, footsteps echoed through the Hall. Harry Potter was standing in the middle of the Great Hall, looking directly at Severus Snape. Students' heads whirled around trying to get a better look at him. Potter looked beyond angry. "It seems despite your exhaustive defense strategies, you still have a bit of a security problem, headmaster" and at those words, the doors of the Great Hall swung open and none other than the Order of the Phoenix appeared. I saw Granger, the Weasley's, Kingsley, Lupin, Tonks, and I couldn't suppress a smile. "And I'm afraid it's quite extensive", Potter continued. "How dare you stand where he stood? Tell them how it happened that night, tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you and killed him, tell them ", he rose his voice loudly and for a split second nobody moved until Severus had his wand out and was pointing it at Potter, but before Harry had it even pointed at Snape, Minerva had already stepped in and was pointing her wand at Severus instantly. Her eyes were full of bravery and courage. It was a big risk she was taking, and the students instantly moved and made room, afraid to get hurt. The Carrows behind Snape raised their wands defensively as well and the Order was ready to fight too.

Silence.

I guess Minerva gave Severus a chance to back down, but I knew he couldn't. I must admit it surprised me when she fired her first spell, and it was a powerful one at that. Severus stayed defensive the entire time and deflected every single spell of hers. Eventually, he had taken out the Carrows, which is only what he wanted, I assumed, and he took steps backwards. After a minute or two, he fled, but before he did that, I noticed he was awfully close by the Carrows, and only then did I realize that he took their wands to prevent them from hurting anyone. "COWARD", yelled Minerva and at those words, anger had already risen up inside me. Severus Snape can be called many things, but coward is definitely not one of them. I just wished that Dumbledore would have let more people inside the secret, but I knew that Dumbledore swore to Severus to never reveal his past motive. If Severus hadn't told me, I too, never would have realized the hidden meanings behind some sentences that were being exchanged. I too, never would have realized that he had just taken the wands of the Carrows. I too, never would have realized that he was offered to help Draco, despite his difficult position. If I weren't in on the secret, I would be thinking the exact same way as everybody else, which makes me feel devastated. Suddenly, I was thinking about something Dumbledore once said. "Sometimes, I think we sort too soon". Only now did I realize what he meant by that exactly.

Anyway, I knew I couldn't just walk up to her and give her a piece of my mind. I had to pretend that I agreed with her and as much as it hurt my heart, I continued to pretend like I had all school year so far. "Not much longer", said the little voice inside my head.

Cheering erupted in the Hall and McGonagall couldn't suppress a smile. The school was hers now. We had to get ready to fight.

"Haaaarrry".
