You yawned as you walked down the stairs into the common room. "It smells so good." You commented as you launched yourself on the couch. "Malleus is making breakfast, seems he's in a good mood today." Silver sighed as he stretched his body. Your mind flooded with memories from the previous night. "Nice! Nothing beats Malleus' cooking." Some of the first years cheered. "Better hurry unless you don't want any." Silver commented as the common started to fil with students.
Standing up you rushed to grab a plate. "Sorry guy's, superiority rules." You brushed past some first years and snagged a plate. Whines and complaints followed as you walked off. "Let's dig in..." You mumbled as you took your first bite. Your eyes widened as you tasted everything. "You alright dude?" You nodded your head. "I've just never had any of Malleus's cooking! No disrespect towards my mother but I'd say this is even better than her food." Everyone laughed at your comments and continued to eat with idle chatter.
Finishing up you walked towards the kitchen to wash your plates. "Hey, you alredy cooked. Leave the plates to someone else... preferably a first year." You mumbled as you walked next to Malleus. "Its fine, I've always cleaned up after myself." You chuckled and shook your head. "I understand that, but your cleaning up after a whole dorm." You motioned towards the dirty plates in the sink. "Did you even get to eat?" You asked as you moved him out of the way.
Grabbing a clean plate you served him whatever was left in the pots and sat him on the counter. "Eat, I'll take care of the dishes." Malleus sighed as he was forced to sit down. "I've got to say, you cook better than my mom. And that saying something cause I love my mom's cooking." You smiled as you threw away some scraps off of the plates. "Really? I don't think it's all that great..." Malleus shrugged his shoulders. "At any rate, you should give me some lessons. I can't cook for shit." Malleus chuckled at your comment.
Placing some dishes in the dish washer you turned it on, proceeding to wash the rest by hand. "I'm serious, if it's not burnt its raw. The only thing I can cook pretty well is rice." You glanced at Malleus who had stood back up and placed his dirty dishes on the counter. "I learned by following a lot of cook books and videos online. I enjoy baking a lot too."
"Woah really? I bet you make great desserts too. I love tiramisu but I don't think I could ever make it." Melleus paused as he thought for a moment. "I can teach you how to make it. It's fairly simple really." Grabbing one of the dishes out of your hands he dried it with a clean rag. The both of you stared into eachothers eyes for a while before he nudged your shoulder. "The dishes aren't going to wash themselves." You shyly nodded and got back to it. "I'd like it if you taught me. I think it would be a fun experience." Malleus grinned as you passed him the last dish.
"Meybe next week, I need to get the ingredients we need to make it." You nodded as you jumped onto the counter. Pausing as you watched Malleus stifle a laugh. "What?" He chuckled even more at your reaction. "It looks like you struggled to get on there." He laughed at your angry expression. "Not everyone can be as giant as you are Malleus." You grumbled before you realized something. "Hey, I think that's the first time I've ever heard your real laugh."
Malleus stood frozen for a moment. "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." You mentally cursed yourself. "Ah, no! It's just... well you know people don't really think I'm approachable so I've never had interactions like these." Malleus's face was flushed by the end of his sentence.
Taking a pause you grinned when an idea popped into your head. "I'm assuming you didn't get to hang out with friends much growing up." Malleus nodded at the statement. "Well then let's hang out, you and me. It'll be fun! Plus I'll get to know you better." Malleus took a second as he thought things over.
"I suppose I can't say no to that." Jumping down from the counter you gave Melleus a peck on the cheek. "Tonight at 8, I'll send you directions later." You waved him off as you ran back to your dorm.
__________________________________Malleus furrowed his eyebrows as he stared at the suspiciously placed ladder. The sun had already set and he was sure he wasn't allowed to be on this part of campus. Just as he was about to head back to his dorm you peeked your head out. "Hey." You motioned for him to climb the ladder and join you on the roof of the abandoned building.
"This doesn't seem safe." He commented and you rolled your eyes. "That's what makes it fun, c'mon now. Unless your scared of course." Your footsteps were heard moving away from the edge of the roof. Malleus stood and pondered for a moment before sighing. He grunted as he struggled to fully climb up. His legs dangled a bit as he tried to use his arm strenght to lift him up.
He had no arm strenght.
"Need help?" You asked trying not to laugh. Melleus grunted before nodding. "Give me your hand." You mumbled as you planted both feet. Extending one arm you let him hold it before adjusting your grip and pulling him up. Malleus wasn't expecting you to wield that much strength, his body stumbling forward from the momentum. "Haha!" You laughed at the shocked look on his face.
"I'm assuming you're not really that athletic." Malleus swallowed a lump in his throat as he looked at the set up you had going on. Various blankets and spray paint bottles laid around the floor. Scattered pillows and a CD player surrounded by various albums of different genre's sat on a corner. Lights of different colors were placed randomly, and a white sheet held up by two broomsticks in cement buckets.
"Like what you see? It took some time to set this up. Especially since I had to sneak some stuff out here." You huffed as you sat yourself down on one of your pillows. "Did you do this for me?" Malleus looked away as he slowly sat down himself. "Ah, well... partially?" You blushed as you fiddled with the blanket. "I've had this place for a while now but I guess I cleaned up a bit." You laughed as you pulled your bag closer.
"I found this place while walking around one day. I almost fell from a hole in the roof but I patched it up and started bringing stuff here." You motioned to the things around you. Handing Malleus an energy drink you looked for the small projector.
"I don't drink this stuff." He mumbled making you pause. "Okay, I understand the whe top of the class thing, but what type of teen doesn't drink energy drinks? Have you at least tried one?" Malleus shook his head. "Well then today is the first." You quickly opened the drink. Some of it fizzing out and spilling a bit. Handing him the drink you opened your own. "To the many first I will have to teach you."
You quickly chugged the drink. Wiping you mouth from any exces you crushed the can and chucked it towards a corner. Turning on the projector you let out a burp and faced the older male.
"So, what do you wanna do?"
