Stretching your arms out you groaned as you looked for your phone to shut off the alarm. Malleus groaned as he curled into you. "I don't wanna go to class..." He whined as held onto you tighter. "You have to learn Malleus, not that you have much of it left." You mumbled as you wiggled out of his arms. "C'mon we need a shower." You huffed as you turned the water on.
Malleus was unmoving.
"Malleus, my love, I know it hurts but you have to get up. The shower will do you some good and I have some spare pain killers." You hummed as you wrapped your arms around him and lifted him up off the bed. "Alright, Alright, I'm up." Malleus yawned as he walked in the bathroom with you.
Washing him off you placed small kisses on his shoulder. The both of you probably stayed in the shower for to long as the room was covered in steam. "You'll have to use my spare uniform, sorry if it's a bit small on you." You mumbled as you looked up at him. "You're robes could cover it up though." You shrugged and Malleus nodded.
"Are you nervous?" Malleus asked as you exited your dorm in a rush. "I mean I've been out for two weeks, finals are next week and everyone knows... Well they know." You paused as you pointed at the both of you.
"Oh, trust me, if anyone had any doubt in there mind about you and Malleus that mark of yours just confirmed everything." Lilia grinned as he passed you down the hall.
There was a mark???
Your mind went blank for a moment before you took out your phone. Lifting it up you pointed it to your neck and stared at the deep purple mark on your neck.
"Malleus you did not."
Malleus grinned as he shrugged his shoulders. "Just tell them it's a bruise." Malleus quickly walked away to class. "Malleus! " You called out for him as he walked into your potions class.
Your anger quickly washed away as small whispers filled the class as you entered. Swallowing the lump in your throat you sat in the only available seat, next to Malleus in the front row. The late bell rang indicating the start of class making everyone quite down.
"Alright, like I told you kids yesterday, today will be a lab day. Get a partner and head towards the stations." Crewel waisted no time in giving you instructions. With a hesitant look around the class your eyes darted around to look for Ace.
"Y/N..." Crewel called you towards his desk and you gave a nervous glance towards Malleus.
"I know these have been a couple of rough days for you but you've missed a lot of classwork. I'll have some leniency on the written portion of the final exam but you still have to pass the lab that goes with it. You're a smart kid and I know you'll pass, you just have to finish catching up on the work. I'll excuse you for the day, go to the library and study."
With a light nod you walked back to your desk and grabbed your books. "I'll see you during lunch..." You mumbled towards Malleus as you placed a hand on his shoulder. Malleus gave you a longing look before nodding. "See you during lunch." He repeated back, watching as you walked away.
Taking a deep breath you groaned. The library was sure to be packed by students wanting to study for finals, and you honestly didn't feel like interacting with anyone at the moment. Pulling out a few books from your backpack you headed straight to the cafeteria. Plugging your headphones in you sighed as you actually got some work done. You hadn't even noticed how much time had gone by until Malleus tapped your shoulder.
"Where were you last period?" Malleus asked as he sat his things down, the noise from different students started folding the cafeteria. "I have free periods for getting all my classes done ahead o time." You sighed as you stretched your limbs. "Let's get lunch and head back to my room." You paused as Malleus gave you a look. "I know your nervous and all, but I'm not going back to the dorm with you. So what, they know that we're dating, nothing they do to us could be worse than what already happened." You looked at the ground with your shoulders slumped for a moment before nodding.
