You woke up on a bed. It wasn't the most comfortable thing you ever laid on, but it wasn't the worst.

You looked around, you were in some kind of cell. It didn't surprise you, you knew why you were there. The guilt of what you had done came back but you suppressed it again.

You made your way over to the desk a paper was on top. You skimmed over what it said, sighing as you read.

Let me go in a month? No way. It's too good to be true... I guess this is where I die...

What exactly are these tests they are talking about?

You had to read the numbers over and over again.

D-8112

D-8112

D-8112

Remember it.

You went back and sat on the bed. Then suddenly hearing a bang on the cell.

"Hey! Up now!"

Your eyes shot a look in their direction.

You obeyed and stood up and the door opened.

"Remember your identification?"

"D-8112?"

"Good, then let's go. You're needed for a test."

You sighed. Already? I hope it kills me...

You didn't want to be let go at the end of the month, even if you even could. You knew if you went back out to that world it would only happen again.

You stayed quiet as they led you to an elevator. It seemed to only go down a floor or two before it stopped and you were led out.

You heard them talking among themselves as you were led to a room. You were the unlucky person who was testing something called SCP-1025. The "O5 council" or whatever had finally allowed testing on it to resume.

You heard someone else whisper something else about it. It was some book that when you read a page you got the disease you read about.

Wonderful...

What if you read something like lung cancer? That could be a slow and painful death...

But you do deserve it...

But just as you thought the test was going to begin. Alarms rang through the building.

There was an announcement. Something about a containment breach.

You were taken back to your cell. I guess it's good then didn't kill you right then and there. The test was temporarily postponed.

You waited for a long time but the test never happened.

I guess others would have considered you lucky. I guess you did to.

You were in a group with a few other D-class now. Cleaning the cell of another SCP. Looked like whoever got sent here did not have a good day...

Small talk started between the group and the question of why you were there came up. The others had done really common things a serial bank robber and a murderer. Interesting group huh?

They asked about you and you stayed quiet. You sighed. You really did not want to talk about. you finally looked at them to speak.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
