Perfect match (SCP-049 x reader)

You had drowned out the fact that you were covered in blood.

Yet, it almost seemed like 049 wasn't at all. All the black he wore, who knows what it could be hiding.

But then again, you seem fine being covered in blood, wonder what he thinks.

An announcement came, a long list of SCPs had been reported as contained.

You went up some stairs before finding another door that required a key card. It opened, revealing a wonderful sight. Well, the sun kind of hurt your eyes.

You smiled, you had done it. You were free.

But you froze hearing rushing footsteps behind you, someone was following. A guard or something. You laughed a bit before pulling 049 out as the door shut.

You looked at him, "Run".

You run as you hear a helicopter nearby. You slip into a ditch and dragged 049 in with you.

You waited a bit, a helicopter eventually flew near but you weren't found.

049 eventually spoke, "Well, thank you Y/N.".

"Huh? Oh! Right yeah, that was kind of sudden..."

"But greatly appreciated."

"Oh no, where's Josie?"

You heard 049 chuckled a bit before opening the small bag as Josie hopped out. "I believe she got tired of walking and didn't want to be carried in your arms, it wasn't too long ago. I presume she tried to nap but us running probably woke her up."

"With all that's in that bag, I'm surprised she doesn't get hurt."

"Yes, I suppose I wonder that too."

Josie hopped out and snuggled onto you.

You looked up at the sky, it seemed mid-day, strange. How long were you there? And when did that breach even start?

"049, should we get going?"

"No. We should stay here a bit longer. Never know who's nearby."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

"Y/N, you should get some rest. You've been up for quite some time."

"I'm fine."

"I can tell you're tired. Rest assured that I will keep watch."

You sighed before a small smile, "Alright, fine".

You had soon fallen asleep. 

Josie jumped up out of the ditch.

049 looked up at her. "Now, where are you going?"

He only got a small meow in response.

"Y/N wouldn't be happy to see you gone."

Josie crouched into a hunting-like position.

"Oh, I suppose you would be hungry. Apologies Josie. But do hurry back."

Josie ran off.

049 looked over at you.

The adrenaline in you had been going for some time. You even seemed to enjoy running from those guards back there.

He already knew you were going to be out for quite some time.

But of course, even he needs a bit of a rest too.
