RanVeer Ff~The Memory Loss

[Recap: Rani meets Vikram. Rani gets a cut on her finger. Later Veer treats her and also informs her that she will be meeting her father soon.]

Veer leaned against the door of Rajmata's room a bit more comfortably as he watched the two ladies talk and laugh.

"Naahi dadisa hum ee sab naahi rakh sakte...", said Rani as Rajmata pulled out another necklace from her jewelry box and made Rani wear it.

Rajmata: Bahurani, ye sab sirf taufa nahi hai, ye aapke liye humara pyaar aur ashirvad hai. Aap humne na nahi keh sakti.

Rani turned to Veer once and he blinked his eyes in assurance.

Yesterday in the afternoon Birju had called up and informed Veer that there was some sort of strike going on in Ballia and henceforth they wouldn't be able to come to Jaipur at this moment.

Rani had become visibly sad after learning that and she did not speak even a word the rest of the day.
At night he himself initiated a conversation by telling her about Rajmata and that she would be  meeting Rajmata the next morning.

"Veer beta, aap kabse wnaha khare hai. Aaiye na, humare paas aake baithiye", Rajmata's voice interrupted his thoughts.

Veer smiled and came and sat with them.

Rajmata: Bahurani aap inn kapdo mai boht hi pyaari lag rahi hai.

She complimented Rani who was wearing a turquoise blue suit.

Rajmata then turned to Veer.

Rajmata: Veer, beta aap ek kaam kyu nhi krte ... Bahurani ko kahi bahar le jaiye. Bechari ghar mai akeli rehti hai dinrat. Bahar jaane se unhe thoda accha bhi lagega.

Veer nodded and Rani smiled too.

After a while, they excused themselves.
Rajmata asked Rani to take care and go and rest now.

Veer got up first and forwarded his hand to Rani.
The latter rolled her eyes at him.

Rani: (in mind) bhak budbak... ee haath kaahe badha rahe hai? Oo bhi Dadisa k saamne... Pata naahi dadisa kaa soch rhi hongi..

She looked at Veer who was already looking at her with a "ab kya hua" expression.
Rani indicated him to remove his hand.

"Kyu?", Veer asked through his eyes.

"Bas hataiye!", She said through her eyes too.

Reluctantly Veer removed his hand. Rani got up on her own and both of them came out of Rajmata's room.

Veer: kya hua? Andar aap aese ishare kyu kar rahi thhi?

Rani: 🙄aap andar haath kaahe badha rahe thhe, oo bhhi Dadisa k saamne? Oo kaa soch rahi hongi...

Veer: Rani🤦‍♂️ye bilkul normal si baat hai. Dadisa kuch bhi nhi soch rahi thhi...

Veer shook his head.
This was not the first time Rani was complaining to him for holding her hand in public.

A smile crept on his lips as he recalled a similar incident that happened a few days before Rani's accident.

Flashback~

All the Rajawats had assembled at the dining table for the breakfast. Only Rani was left to join them.
She was late today- all thanks to Veer.

The servants had already started serving the food when Rani hurriedly came and took her seat, not before passing a smile to everybody. 

After sitting comfortably, she was about to begin eating but was unable to bring her hand up. Looking down, she found that her right hand had been grasped by Veer's left hand.
