but things never go to plan

all of the other knights were busy, so jean had asked you to babysit klee with albedo.
today was .. not going great.
but hey at least you were spending time with that super hot nerd dude

oh and klee was there too, i guess

considering the fact you weren't very high up in the hierarchy of the knights, you didn't get to spend much time with albedo, therefore you didn't know much about him. you just knew he looked nice.
today, however, would change that, because you were BOTH tasked with babysitting klee

wait ... hasn't albedo babysat klee on his own before ? why did you suddenly have to join him this time ?

the short but life changing session of debating all of your past choices came to an abrupt end as you realised that you had 30 minutes to mentally prepare yourself for whatever the fuck was gonna happen, so you better hurry it up and get your lazy ass over to albedo's office.
(lol albedo has an office on the second floor of the KoF hq and nobody can change my mind)

luckily, you lived quite close to the knights of favonius' headquarters, which sometimes had its benefits, but it also meant jean could run over to your house at 4 o'clock in the morning to give you more boring tasks to do in the city.
for some reason, jean was unable to process the fact that humans need to SLEEP and NOT WORK ALL THE TIME.
it doesn't matter though we all love her.

you had known jean since childhood, and you consider her one of your closest friends along with lisa. together, the three of you formed the most chaotic, sleep deprived and semi-responsible friend group in mondstadt, regardless of your ranking in the knights.

growing up with jean had its pros and cons, pros being that you knew such an independent and strong willed woman, cons being she was your boss and knew where you lived due to the constant sleepovers you'd have as children.

jean had told you quite a lot about klee before tasking you with babysitting her. she seemed to be ... quite fond of explosives. it heavily contrasted that adorable face of hers.

you had finally arrived in front of albedo's office, you felt excitement rushing through you. partially because you got to take care of an adorable child(e), and partially because OHMYGODALBEDO
albedo leaned on the doorway, smiling softly at you before signalling to 'come in'

albedo's office was messy but tidy, it didn't make sense yet it made so much sense.
the shelves were brimming with books and alchemy related nerd stuff that you couldn't understand and his desk held piles and piles of paper. in the corner was a small couch, where klee was currently sitting very patiently.
the moment she saw you, she sprinted at you full speed and hugged your leg.

"hi (name) ! master jean has told me sooo much about you, you're suuuuuper cool ! i'm klee by the way !"

klee grinned at you and you could've sworn you saw albedo smile too
