I quite enjoy the library's wide selection of books. Those under the 'History' genre are also very accurate. Though most romance novels are often painful to read, some of them can be quite enjoyable and do not fill me with a sense of disgust. If you would like, maybe we could arrange a meet up to discuss different books. I have read quite a few that cannot be found in this library that I'd love to share with you, I do hope that you will enjoy them.

lisa really wanted to reply to that letter, but asking jean for your address out of the blue would be strange. she had hoped you didn't hate her for the lack of response, but speaking to you always seemed to make her nervous. meaning most of the time she avoided you.

"have you received any new books recently ?"

the moment you spoke up lisa immediately stopped functioning. you stared at her momentarily before walking down the stairs, grabbing a book and then sitting down at a table in a far corner of the library.
now you were out of sight, lisa took the chance to grab some of her favourite books from the restricted section and under her desk.

she tried to look professional, but it was clear she was very excited to share these books with you.
lisa was now stood in front of the table you sat at, unable to function once again once she saw how focused you were on the book you had picked up. instead, she sat in front of you. not saying a word as she started reading a book herself, sliding the rest of them towards you.

"thank you, miss minci."

"please- just call me lisa. you have no need to be formal."

"alright then. i apologise, lisa."

lisa was internally screaming. hearing you say her name was .. almost magical. being no stranger to romance novels herself, lisa knew exactly what her feelings meant. she prayed to barbatos and every other archon out there that she wasn't making herself look like a fool and her feelings weren't that obvious. it seemed she had fallen in with the crowd.
just like everyone else in mondstadt, lisa loved you.

for now, lisa just wanted to build up the friendship between the two of you before facing her feelings.

for the next few months the two of you had met up during your free time to discuss books you have read recently.
whenever you went out on long trips you would also send letters back to the purple librarian, except this time, she'd send letters back.

you felt happy now that she was responding to your letters.

you were more talkative with lisa, and you enjoyed her company quite a lot. you had far much more patience with lisa than everyone else.
you looked forward to your little meet-ups, they were quite often the highlight of your week.

this little friendship didn't go unnoticed by the rest of the knights either.
by this point lisa had already told jean about her feelings and slowly but surely the rest of the knights caught on.
seeing you walk up the stairs of their headquarters every friday always brought a smile to the knights' faces. before you befriended lisa, friday was always the day you took to rest. you worked hard every other day, but friday was your relaxation day.
