The next day, you found yourself back at the arcade with Vi's gang. Vander had warned you all to lay low so the whole mess could blow over. You had caused more of a mess by injuring those Enforcers when you had jumped down from the roof. You had given Vander a sheepish smile when he said that to you.

Your thumb brushed over the brand new ice cream tattoo on your wrist. Powder had insisted that you get one and broke out the puppy-dog eyes. You debated on what color to make the scoops and Ekko suggested your hair colors. So, it had four little scoops of ice cream: strawberry for Vi, blueberry for Powder, and two vanilla for you and Ekko. Each of you got one even though you knew your respective parents wouldn't approve. They were a symbol of your little family. A reminder that you'd always be a family no matter what.

Once again, Vi was at the boxing machine. You were seated on the railing and watching her attack with more fury than you've seen before. You knew that laying low was going to be hard for her when she hated having to stay in. Although it wasn't Vi's preferred way to spend her days, she wasn't as vocal about it as some people.

"Remind me why we bother with this dump." Mylo complained.

"Vander said to lay low." Vi replied as she backed up, "Enforcers never come down here, so this is as good a place as any." She wiped her brow before knocking the gloves together.

"Oh, what's the matter, Mylo? You worried Powder's gonna beat you again?" Claggor taunted him. Claggor had been more frosty with Mylo since this morning. You assumed it was because he was upset with Mylo too.

"Hey! If she didn't keep fixing these things, I wouldn't keep missing!"

Powder popped up from underneath the counter with a smirk. She was holding the power cords for the game and locked them together. The game booted up behind her and the smirk never left Powder's face. She hopped over the counter and you winked at her causing her to giggle.

"You guys know I wouldn't take you on a job you couldn't handle, right?" You could hear the insecurity in Vi's voice and it made your heart sink.

"Are you kidding?" Mylo scoffed, "That was the best job we've ever done!" He continued to shoot at the targets and didn't land any of them, "Maybe just don't take Powder next time." You glared at Mylo and watched as Powder snapped the gun shut and aimed down the lane. She fired and you cheered her on as she hit all of the targets with the balls.

"Yeah! Go, Powder!" You shouted, "Whoo!"

When she was finished, Powder put the gun down and marched over to a game console. You sighed and made eye contact with Claggor who motioned over to Powder. You hopped down and headed over to her but paused as a loud commotion started outside the window. Powder was peeking outside from her position at the game console. The voices outside were slightly muffled but you could hear them from where you stood.

"Tell me where I can find them." The muffled voice of the Enforcer caught your ears. Your eyes widened as you listened harder to what was being said.

"Topsider business ain't my concern."

"It's every one of you trencher's concern now."

"...Give me a name."

It went suspiciously silent after that. Powder glanced at you before she backed up, "Hey guys?" You narrowed your eyes at the glass in front of you. Certain parts of it seemed to get darker.

"You should see this-" Powder was cut off as the glass in front of you shattered. You gasped and dived out of the way at the last minute. The man's body flying past you and crashing to the ground. Vi ran over to the railing and everyone froze.
