"My ex-girlfriend has come back from the dead with a Piltie. The Piltie wants to run away with the gemstone that my enemy is building a weapon for." You say count on your fingers, "I found out I'm not human. Piltover is worse than I thought, which was already pretty bad. Not only that, but I had sex with my ex-girlfriend, who likes said Piltie. Hurray." You sigh heavily and fiddle with the blanket.

"I'm not surprised about you not being human. But, seriously? You had sex with Vi?" Jinx groans and drops her head back, "You're a dumbass... You don't sound too thrilled about it. Was she that bad at it?"

"I still like her, Jinx! She came back into my life out of nowhere and I still have feelings for that cocky ass woman!" You shout and throw your arms up in exasperation, "Of course, I had sex with her! No, she's not bad at it. I just don't know where her mind is! One moment, she's all over me and being so loving and the next moment she's all over that fucking Piltover bitch! I know we're not together anymore, but I'd like to know if the sex was just sex or if it had meaning! Because to me, it meant something...!" You huff in frustration as the tears start to fall again, voice getting quiet at the end. The conversation you overheard from earlier buzzes in your mind.

"Hey..." Jinx's gaze softens, "Vi is a loose cannon. She's worse than me. No one could change her mind once she set it to something. You were her everything as kids, though. So, I'm sure the sex had some meaning to her. If it didn't, she can kiss my ass because she doesn't deserve you." Jinx's words hit the fresh wound in your chest.

"...How's Silco taking things?" You clear your throat and change the subject, "How's the scary lady?"

Jinx eyes you, seeing through your obvious attempt to change the conversation. She shrugs, "Sevika's pissed - like that ever changes - but she's a lot angrier since that Piltie broke her arm. She's the one who made it, you know? She was really proud of it. She was cursing and throwing things in her workshop the other night. Sevika was so angry she didn't even glare at me." Jinx smirks. You snort. The animosity between the two of them was comical. Jinx took great joy in aggravating the older woman, and Sevika wanted nothing more than to strangle her.

"Silco is panicking. He tried to convince me that Vi's going to betray me like Vander did to him. Pfft, as if my sister would do that! She may have punched me six years ago, but she instantly regretted it... I lost the gemstone so Silco's extra pissy at me for that." Jinx rolls her eyes.

"He definitely doesn't know your sister." You snort, "Vi would never do that on purpose."

"I-I'm scared, Hex... What if I'm too different for her to love?" Jinx whimpers and curls closer to you. You drape an arm around her with a sigh.

"If Vi cared about that and not you, she wouldn't have come running to you looking to be a family again. She would have punched you instead of hugging you. She came back for you, Jinx. If she's leaving anyone, it's going to be me." You laugh bitterly, "I'm her ex-girlfriend. You're her sister. You mean more to her than me. Besides, I overheard a conversation between them today. Caitlyn accused me of a murder - which I did - but Vi didn't even try to defend me."

"Don't say that. You're important to her, too. I'm the one who blew up our family. Literally!" Jinx waves her arms around, "I killed you! Vi has more than enough reasons to be pissed with me!"

"Oh shut up." You scoff and flick her forehead, making her flinch, "You're perfect the way you are, Jinx. No more of that." You give her a stern look. Jinx stares at you in silence as tears gather in her eyes. She nods her head and you give her a smile.

"Enough moping about my sister!" Jinx jumps up, "I've got to tell you what Silco is planning to do and show you the weapon I've made." She holds her hand out to you, and you grab it.
