When Jinyoung wakes up in his study this time, he doesn't wastes much time to pull the second last note off his board and subject it to the flame's care.
'You're a star, Jinyoungie. I hope you burn the brightest in the sky.'
He saw the words being reduced to ashes.

The third time Jinyoung's eyes flung open....he doesn't find himself in his own bedroom. He doesn't find himself in any strange, unknown environment either. In fact, he knew this place just as better as his own.
He blinked-once, twice, thrice. His vision felt blurry. The nerves in his head felt like bursting open.
"Headache?" He felt as if someone voiced his words. "Why do you drink so much when you can't even handle it in the first place?"
"Shh!!" Jinyoung hissed, squeezing his eyes shut and covering one of his ears tightly as he looked for a cushion and tossing it that the person standing in front of him. "Shut it, Wang. Don't piss me off."
He was at Jackson's place. He often stayed over at his best friend's house after Jaebeom and Him decided to take a break from their relationship. He just needed to be sure of it.
"Whoa, prince keep it cool." Jackson remarked before taking a seat on the edge of the bed. "Here, have this." Jinyoung peeped through his eyelids to steal a glance at the bowl of hangover soup Jackson had prepared for him. "I made this for you."
"No! You always put too much salt."
"Making this for you is the first thing I do in the morning and this is what I get in return? You aren't a human, Park Jinyoung." Jinyoung would've chuckled if his head didn't hurt much. He missed this. He missed his Jackson, sulking and complaining.
"Fine. I will drink it." Jinyoung didn't miss how Jackson started beaming and also how he felt like being held in a warm embrace just at the sight of Jackson's smile.
"What is the date?"
"Date?" Jackson arched an eyebrow as he watched Jinyoung slurp the soup in amusement. He knew Jinyoung liked it and the salt was just as his taste. He had made sure of it. "What are you? a hobo?"
"Calling me a prince and a hobo in the same conversation? Joke's on you, Wang."
"So what? You're my hobo prince. Isn't it why you're lying at my place?" Jackson giggled at his own joke. "Any way, it's February 17th."
"Year?"
"Now what? Are you a time traveler? Did you wake up in a different dimension or something?" Jinyoung wanted to retort with a 'yes' but then there was a big chance that Jackson believed him just like the the other times and he couldn't afford to be transported back to his time at the moment.
"I am just confused as hell."
"I told you to not drink that much." Jinyoung rolled his eyes. "2021. It's 2021."
It was confirmed. It had been a few weeks since Jaebeom and him decided on their 'break'. they hadn't broken up yet.
"Seun-ah?"
"Hmm?"
"I think we had enough of the break."
Jackson stopped doing whatever he was engaged in on his phone. He opened his mouth as if to say something but closed his mouth immediately when the words didn't came. His face was blank. Expressionless.
"I know it must sound something that came out of nowhere-"
"Hold on." Jackson winced, tilting his head to the side. "You were just cursing at Jaebeom, yesterday." He wasn't sure if it was a question or statement of self assurance.
