~ Timeskip To Cinderpaw's Med Cat Apprentice Ceremony ~

I found myself once again looking at Highrock from beside Tigerclaw. The tabby was sitting right next to me with his shadow looming over me. We both watched in silence as Cinderpaw became Yellowfang's new apprentice. My heart may or may not have combusted of joy. That she-cat went through so much, she deserved this.

"Congratulations. Cinderpaw!" I purred as I rubbed against the dark gray she-cat. "I'm glad you've found a new path to follow. I promise I'll support you through it all."

"Thanks, Rainsong." Cinderpaw replied with a pleased purr. "Your words mean a lot to me."

I gave her a lick on her ear, to which she answered by beaming at me.

~ Timeskip to the Gathering ~

"ThunderClan are sheltering Brokenstar!" Nightstar half shrieked and half yelled.

I spat and lashed my tail angrily as I glared up at the ShadowClan leader. From his spot at the foot of the Great Rock, Tigerclaw seemed to be planning Nightstar's murder second by second. He was growling and muttering under his breath with a death glare looking up at Nightstar.

"Traitor!" Tallstar screeched. "You know what Brokenstar did to us."

"No cat dares to call me a traitor!" Bluestar retorted with a hiss. I could see that she was tensing up all her muscles, she was doing her best to keep calm.

"I dare," replied Tallstar. "You are nothing but a traitor to the warrior code, if you are willing to give shelter to that...that heap of foxdung!"

Everywhere around the clearing, WindClan were calling "Traitor!" and many of the cats were no in battle stances.

I myself, heard some random ShadowClan cat I didn't know say: "Bluestar's really a traitor! She dares to keep that mongrel in ThunderClan while not informing the other Clans!"

I turned around and hissed, announcing that I had heard. The ShadowClan cat who had dared to say those words had a brown pelt with dark brown spots and lines speckling his pelt. (Just some random warrior I made up.) The other cat was a WindClan cat, it was a pale gray tom-cat with deep blue eyes. (Cloudrunner, Gorsepaw's father and Morningflower's mate)

Crouching downwards, I pinned my ears back and let out a snarl. I didn't plan on pouncing. However, if they launched themselves first, I would have to jump high to avoid them.

"Stop!" Bluestar yowled from her place on the Great Rock. "How can you break the truce like this? Would you risk the wrath of StarClan?"

Uh no, but I wasn't planning to, just had a ready escape route in case some other cats broke the truce. When I looked up, I saw clouds starting to cover the moon. Making the sky and the light in the clearing dim significantly.

Most of the cats sat themselves down and switched to scowling at each other. Tigerclaw and Deadfoot on the other hand were still snarling at each other in battle stances. I padded up to Tigerclaw to attempt to convince him to calm down. Apparently Whitestorm decided he would do that as well. I didn't pay attention to the rest of the gathering. But I did catch that we wouldn't be going home the way we had come.

~ Timeskips Are Really Needed Right Now (no, I just don't have patience) ~

The moment the ShadowClan and WindClan cats burst into the clearing through the tunnel, I leapt at them. I had been anxiously waiting for them to burst through from beside the tunnel's end. As I leaped into the mass of cats, I caught hold of someone's scruff with my claws. Hanging on for my life, I battered my back paws harshly on the stranger's spine. I gave the cat one hard blow to the head and leapt off his back.
