"Persephone?"
Persephone looks at the three of us in urgency and then shoves us in a thick thorny bush motioning for us to be quiet. I wince as thorns dig into my skin and Dark hisses.
"Hades." Says persephone mildly as Hades walks into the garden. "There you are, I thought I heard you talking to someone?" He asks her. Persephone hesitates "No, I uh.. was talking to my plants!" she stammers.
"Your plants...?"
"Anything new about the war?"
"Yeah, it's in ten days at like 12:00. 2:30ish."
"Ok. So if you could please be on your way I can continue talking to them."
"Ok? Bye?" And with that Hades leaves and Persephone breathes a sigh of relief. We quickly camber out of the bushes and stand in front of her plucking the thorns out of our clothes and bodies.
"Now where was I? Oh right, I was about to tell you my plan on how to defeat hades." Persephone tells us. "The gods will all be fighting each other and hades will be at the river styx away from all the fighting so after the war he can swoop in and steal the god's powers. I want Pit and Dark Pit to go to my garden and pretend to be fighting me, when in reality we will ambush Hades. Y/N you go straight to Hades, he doesn't know that you know you are a god. It is up to you to defeat him." She explains to us the plan.
"But how do I do that?!" I ask her not knowing how I will be able to defeat Hades, I don't even know what I can do!
"You'll know." Is all she says.
I sigh, when will people stop being so cryptic?!
"Ok so should we have a meeting with all the gods on our side or~~" Pit asks.
"I can ask all the gods to come to the river styx?" Persephone offers I shake my head "Not safe enough, how about the spring of Artemis?" I ask her. She shakes her head "Hades has eyes everywhere in the god world." She replies sadly.
"What is we don't meet up in the god world." Says Dark.
Me and Persephone give him a look
"Yeah!" Says Pit apparently understanding "Let's meet up in the human world!" h says excitement sparking in his eyes. "Good Idea!" I said kicking myself for not thinking of that Pit smiles at me and I quickly look away my cheeks heating up.
Persephone looks at me smirking "Oooooh Y/N~~" I roll my eyes at my mother. "Someone's got a cru-- mmff!" I quickly slap my hand over her mouth. And smile sweetly at the two angels who are looking slightly confused.
"Ok, ok, I'll be quiet." Persephone says removing my hand from her face. "So here's the plan I tell the rest of the gods about the meeting, you convince Poseidon. We will meet at the human town and go into a caffe or something, two days from now." she tells us.
"Ok, then we'll be off." I say trying to be casual, after that episode with my mother. Persephone hugs me one last time. "Take care of her you two!" She calls out to the angels. I scowl "More like I'll be taking care of them!" I huff indignantly. I summon a portal back to Lady Palutena's castle and light fills our vision.
We appear back in the throne room and hear a cough behind us. Lady Palutena is sitting there and she did not look impressed.
Flip.
"Lady Palutena! Haha, we were just thinking about you, how have you been?!" Asks Pit nervously.
"Before you tell us off, we found important information!" Says dark and he explains everything we learned to Lady Palutena. She thinks for a moment and finally speaks.
"Since today is the afternoon you will go to Poseidon tomorrow." she says with a slight smile "I'm impressed about what you found out!" And with that Dark stands guard next to her.
"C'mon, let's go." I say to Pit he looks at me with curiosity "Where?" he asks. I turn and stop looking at him "You will learn how to read." I say firmly. He gives a little bounce of excitement "Yay!".
We reach my room and I take out a paper and pencil. "First I'll write out the alphabet and then you say each letter ok?" I write it out and ask him to start "A, B, C, D, E..." he says seriously. I can't help but smile a little it feels weird to teach someone as old as I am to read!
"Now your name." I write 'Pit' on the paper. "P-i-t. uh... Pit!" I smile and he smiles back. After about an hour, the longest hour in my life Pit can read the basic words and if he can read those he can read any word. I yawn "Look, Y/N! I can read!" he exclaims in excitement picking up a Percy Jackson book. I nod half listening, it was so hard to do! He suddenly gives me a big hug "Thanks Y/N... I know it was hard for you but you still did it." he says letting go "It was nothing..." I say a bit flustered.
He goes out the door calling out "Pittoo! PITTOO!! I can read!" I can't help but laugh. Lady Palutena comes in and says "Finally you made Pit read! Now we can use this!" She hands me a piece of pure white paper "抖阴社区 something on it and we will all be able to see it!" And with that she leaves.
I try it out.
Y/N: hello?
Dark: Hi
Lady Palutena: Hello! I just made this, I thought it would be a fun way to communicate!
Pit: HI!
Dark changed Pit's name to Pit of Despair
Dark: Cool you can change names!
Y/N changed Dark's name to Burnt Pit of despair
Burnt Pit of despair: Not cool Y/N not cool.
Pit of despair: Nice one!

Lady Palutena changes Y/N's name to tsundere god
tsundere god: I thought you were on my side!
Lady Palutena: I'm on the right side
burnt pit of despair: OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!
