I was still in my room after diner. Lady Palutena called me to eat but I didn't feel like it.

I was too embarrassed.

I let my feelings get the better of me. I cried, I screamed and I ranted. If only Artemis could see the mess I have become now. NO. I'm glad she can't see me, what would she think of me?!

"Y/N?"

Oh no, it's Aphrodites.

I sit up and smoothen my outfit "Come in." I say curtly.

Aphrodites walked in nervously. I still felt cool towards her but kept my polite demeanour.

"I'm sorry." She blurts out. I say nothing so she continues.

"I made bad choices! I divorced Hephaestous! I went to the dark side! And then I took out all my unhappiness on everyone else! You're right, I am no goddess of love!" She chokes out "I'm encouraging war, snapping at people who help me! This isn't love! It's hate! I know you hate me right now, I don't blame you! I brought up a sensitive topic, I deserve this! I just wanted to say I'm sorry for everything!" her mascara is running down her face, making her look like a rabid raccoon.

"It's okay." I say at last. A bit taken aback. Does she really mean it? "Our deeds are our monuments." I add. "Well then I guess my monuments are broken." She says attempting to joke.

"I'm sorry, I really am."

"I'm sorry too. I shouted at you. I feel as if I failed Saphiron, the way I moved on and forgot about him." I confide to her. She looked at me sadly "Saphiron would want you to be happy." Aphrodites says gently.

I nod silently and she goes out the room.

Her words reassure me, but only a little.

With Pit:

Aphrodites comes back. I glare at her.

She made Y/N cry and she bullied her! some goddess.

"She accepted my apology but is not doing too well." she says quietly.

"IT'S YOUR OWN FAULT!" Pittoo snaps.

"She took his death really hard." Aphrodites adds "She seemed so happy once she came her!" Lady Palutena says surprised. "Was that all a lie?" I ask my voice quavering.

"No it wasn't. She wasn't hiding the happiness she felt here but the sadness she felt five years ago. Saphiron loved her, it breaks my heart the way things turned out." Aphrodites says her face filled with sadness.

Wait... Saphiron loved her?! I feel something... I feel a bit hurt.

"Lady Palutena? Dark Pit? Would you please excuse us?"

Why?! Why does she want to talk to me?! Why am I panicking so much!? Aphrodites looks at me knowingly once Pittoo and Lady Palutena left. "You like her." she says. It's no use denying it, I mean she is the goddess of love. "Maybe." I try to keep my voice even.

"It's okay Pit. Y/N never knew about Saphiron. it wouldn't have worked out anyways."

"Did you come here just to say that?"

"Go talk to her."

"Why me? Dark should go, he's her best friend."

"Are you jealous of that?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"It means that they are close, ok?!"

"Not really."

"What do you mean?"

"Love is closer."

"Look, Aphrodites? I'm still like 14!"

"Yeah, but you care for her."

"I feel like this is a therapy session."

"Go talk to her!"

"Why??"

"She needs someone!"

"She needs someone else!"

"She needs a happy go lucky, floor ice cream eating angel!"

"Why!"

"Your happiness is contagious."

"So?!"

"I'm done! Just go talk to her!"

"You can't make me?!"

Aphrodites gives me an evil smile. She walks forward and pushes me. I land with a yelp on something soft. Wait it's a bed, in Y/N's room!

"Hello Pit." Y/N greets me. She is sitting on her bed reading something, she isn't crying but she looks sad.

"Are you okay Y/N?" I cautiously ask her.

"No."

"It's not your fault!"

"I forgot about him!"

"You didn't!"

"I did."

"Y/N, You can't live in the past! You have a right to live a happy life! Don't throw it away on something that's not your fault!" I shout.

Y/N's eyes widen and she loosens up "I didn't know you could shout." she says quietly with a chuckle. "I guess you're right Pit, I shouldn't mope around on the past. I should open up to new things." She sighs in defeat.

"Does that mean you'll come out!?" I say happy that she saw reason, she nods. I grab her hand and lead her out.

Her blank expression has been replaced by a smile.

Y/N's POV:

I'm glad I lost the argument with Pit.

Once we get out my stomach grumbles I blush in embarrassment as Pit chuckles "let's get you something to eat!"

He leads me to the kitchen and I take down some ice cream, I scoop out a bit and put it in a bowl for myself. Pit takes the tub and dumps it on the floor.

"EEEWWW!" I exclaim. "It gives you health!" Pit retorts "It will make you sick! Who knows what's been on the floor!" He shrugs and takes a spoon and starts eating it. I shudder in disgust. Dark comes in "I'm here for ice cream." is his explanation.

This is gonna be good.

He takes the tub of ice cream and puts it in a bowl. Then he takes a flame thrower and burns the ice cream. I wrinkle my nose "Can't you two eat ice cream like normal people?!" I tease them still disgusted. Dark just shrugs and sits next to me.

"Why are you three sitting on the floor eating ice cream, floor ice cream and burnt ice cream at 11 pm?!"

I look up, it's Lady Palutena!

"Actually I want ice cream too." she says.

Finally someone who can eat ice cream normally!

She puts the ice cream in a bowl and takes a spoon. Then she dumps some chocolate sauce and sprinkles it with broccoli. WAIT.... BROCCOLI?!

"You three gross me out!" I scowl.

"What? Broccoli and ice cream go well together!"

There we sat, eating ice cream, sitting on the floor at eleven pm.

One on the floor,

One burnt,

One with broccoli,

and one normally.
