James looked at them as he continued his lecture. "You know you're going to have to move, right?" Jade pouted at them. "Why do I have to move?" Jenna rolled her eyes at her.

"Because you live in a 1,000 square feet apartment with me, while he lives in a mansion or penthouse. Whichever one I know it's expensive and I want my own bedroom for when I visit."

Jason laughed at her. "It's a decent sized home in Piney Point Village. My family are my only neighbors and the community has every amenity you could ever dream of including a community Starbucks and Target." Jenna practically drooled.

"Yep, I want a room!" Jason nodded his head in approval. "We've got plenty guest rooms. Feel free to drop on in whenever. In fact, I'll give you the code to the door to get in when we get back to Houston."

Jenna hit Jade's arm repeatedly. "Bitch you hear that? A code. It's like luxury and technology had a baby and it's your new home." Jade rolled her eyes at her.

"Dad's pissed." James spoke up earning a groan. Jade became very upset at that. She didn't want her in-laws to dislike her before meeting her. Jason kissed her pout away before rubbing her arms.

"They're going to love you, Jade. My mom is already so excited to meet you." James offered with a reassuring smile. "They are?" He nodded his head at her. "My daughter has been talking about you nonstop since she saw the pictures on the television. She calls you Princess because of your wedding dress and tiara."

Jade smiled at that before looking at Jenna's expression. "You have a daughter?" James looked at her and nodded. "Your girlfriend must be really proud." He shook his head at her. "No girlfriend. It's been me and Layla since day one."

Jenna's eyes widened. News like that got her riled up to no avail. Here she was ready and willing to love a child but couldn't have any biologically while there were women able to give birth and were out here treating their own children worse than gum on a shoe. It was maddening and Jade knew exactly where her best friend's mind was going.

"I'm sure you ladies wanted to enjoy Vegas but we've got to move. We've got a lot of things to do and I came here on the private jet to collect you. We've got to get you two back to Houston and settled before Monday." Jade looked at James confusedly. "What happens on Monday?" James blew out a breath. "Your wedding party." Jason looked just as confused as Jade.

"Jason's publicist felt we could capitalize on this moment to show poachers that Jason was happy in Houston as well as the media that he had finally settled down and was ready to take life seriously. The Astros are throwing their star player and his blushing bride a wedding party Monday night at The St. Regis hotel." Jade blew out a breath.

"My mother is working with them to plan it and is already on bridal duty, so don't worry about a thing Jade. As for you, just smile and chat up the team as much as you chat up your wife to ensure everyone believes you're happy with them." Jason nodded his head at his younger brother. "Are you not happy?" He smiled at her before pecking her lips.

"Coach and I just but heads, but I love my city. I'm good, pretty girl. I promise." Jade stared at him for a moment longer but relented. "Now you can prove the naysayers wrong, I guess." Jenna spoke up earning a look from Jade. "What naysayers?" Jenna groaned. "I really need you to get social media, best friend. By the time you get the tea it's ice cold."

Jade rolled her eyes. "Your husband here had a Justin Bieber moment not too long ago." James shook his head in his hands. Jade looked between her and Jason. "What is she talking about?" Jenna spoke up before Jason could. "He said the n-word on two occasions. Personally, folks didn't drag you for nearly as long as they should have, but that's none of my business."
