Obviously this story is not done yet but....

I did not know if you guys wanted to know about how I write these books or not, so you don't have to read this if you don't want to. But a lot of time and effort was put into this book, and I don't think many people know that.

The Continuous Story
If you were to go back to book one (How to Kill a Legacy), you would notice that there is a good amount of foreshadowing, and that is because I already knew the entire story of all three books before even writing the first one. This also helps it seem more like real life, since secrets do have to be hidden before they are revealed. I did not want it to seem like a lot of sequels where the second story is just kind of "added" on.

The Outfits
You will notice that in the first book, (Y/N)'s outfits are slightly brighter than those in this book. This book is where (Y/N) starts to find her identity more, and define her style, without worrying about what others might think. She starts to include more black and white in her outfits, and this is for Carlos, whether he realizes it or not (he realizes and loves it). At the end of the book, she begins to wear more blue than yellow, adapting more of her Isle roots. And throughout all of her outfits, she continues to wear the bracelet that Carlos gifted her. The next book will show more change in her outfits, in that she will combine both her Auradon heritage, and her villain kid heritage into her own style.

The Science
Yes, there was science in this book. If you remember, when Harry kidnapped (Y/N) and Ben, he knocked Ben out by hitting him, but he did not want to hurt (Y/N), so he held a glass bottle up to her face, which proceeded to slowly knock her unconscious. This may have been confusing to you, but there is actually science behind it. Of course, on the Isle, it would probably be hard to find hypnotics. However, chloroform can be found in the ocean, which is Uma's specialty. Although the chemical cannot actually knock someone out when put on a cloth (when chloroform touches air, it's affects wear off), it can be contained in glass, where air can be kept out. However, Harry knew exactly what he was doing, because if put in the wrong doses, chloroform can be fatal. His skills are realistic though, because after all, pirates are known for their kidnapping skills. Obviously though, I'm not scientist (art major actually) so this isn't 100% accurate, but I mean, it's fanfiction.

The Easy Parts
I really enjoyed going back and watching these movies, but it was also super fun to be able to create my own story that would intertwine with the original. But my favorite part of all was reading everything you guys have had to say in both books (and my other stories) so far. It really reassured me that I wasn't writing for no reason. I do like writing for myself though.

The Hard Part
I kind of hated just writing the original script of the movie. I like the original story, it was just very monotinous to write each word the characters said as I watched the movie. That was until I found some movie scripts online.

Anyways, thanks again for reading. Book three will be out soon....

How to Stop a War.

Thanks again!
