"That's it!" Carlos exclaimed with a huge smile on his face as he plopped onto his bed. Jay laughed.
"What is it dude?"
"I am asking (Y/N) to Cotillion today, and nothing is going to stop me! Not even my stupid nerves," he said, starting to get nervous again. Jay laughed.
"Man, Cotillion is in two days, and the day is almost over."
"I know, I know," he sighed.Bzz Bzz.
Jay looked at his phone, and his eyes got huge. "What?" Carlos asked him, getting off his bed and walking over.
"Maybe you won't be asking her today."
"What? Why?" Carlos asked defensively.
"Cause she and Mal are on the Isle."Carlos stood there, dumbfounded. "Yep, that would do it," he said sadly. "Why is she there?"
"I'm not sure," Jay said as he began gathering some things in the room, with an expressionless face. "Something about her bringing Mal back. But we need to get going. Evie said we are gonna help Ben bring them back."Carlos stood there, trying to process. (Y/N) was on the Isle. The most terrible place that even he, a villain kid, had hated. He had to save her. He had to fix the trust that he had broken in the past. He could make it all up to her, and once she was safe and sound, ask her to Cotillion. But most importantly, he could never forgive himself if she was in trouble again.
"Alright," he said sternly. "Let's get going."

While Mal and I were having our lovely adventures on the Isle, the remaining VKs and my brother were headed to come and rescue us. Ben was in a new villain getup, courtesy of Evie, and ready to blend in. They quickly headed down the stairs of Auradon prep to get in the limo and take off. Ben tossed Jay the keys and remote to the barrier as they made their way toward the car.
"Wait!" Evie called as they made it to the bottom of the stairs, "Something is wrong."
Everyone freaked out for a second, but all that was wrong was Ben's beanie was not perfect to Isle standards. Ben looked at her with a slightly annoyed face."Shot gun!" Someone yelled from behind.
It was Dude. Somehow he had followed.
"No, Dude. Stay," Carlos commanded. "The Isle is way too dangerous."
The dog groaned, surprising everyone except Carlos. "But (Y/N) got to go!" Dude whimpered.
"How do you even know that?" Carlos asked slightly annoyed.
"The mice in the walls are great gossipers," Dude said simply. "But I was also in the room while you were giving yourself a pep talk.""Did he just..." Jay asked him, slightly concerned.
Carlos sighed. "Talk? Yeah. I know. Tell you later."Dumbfounded, but without time to worry about it, the four of them put their stuff in the vehicle and got in.
"Okay, once we cross the bridge, park under the pier in the old garage. Got it?" Evie commanded as they were leaving.
"Got it," Jay answered. They smoothly crossed the bridge and parked on the other side. It was almost pitch black, since there were not many lights on the Isle, and it was close to midnight. Ben and Carlos put a tarp over the car so it would blend in more. Helping them put it on, Jay and Evie stood on the other side.
"It's really weird being back here," she whispered, almost scared. Jay could tell and tried to give her reassuring words.
"We'll get in and get out."
She quickly nodded, pushing the fear deeper down. Not that that helped. As they were finishing up, Ben decided to look around. "Hey, what's in here?" He asked them, as he looked into what seemed to be a big metal pipe.
They all rushed over, more trying to keep the King out of trouble. He was almost like a child in a junkyard, imagining it was a playground, unintentionally looking for ways to kill himself. "You don't want to know," Jay quickly told him as he pulled him away from there.
