"Hello po tita Imee, I'm glad that you're okay na." Janella added as she hurriedly walk towards Imee and gives her a hug, which made Kate's eyes widened. Same reaction with Imee.
"Thank you iha." Imee replied as she taps her back. Irene on the other hand, called Kate's attention.
"Here's your clothes and also I bought your favorite." Irene excitedly informed her daughter, Kate lightly smile.
"Thanks and for your information, was my favorite. My current favorite food is lasagna from greenwich." Kate said, trying her best to said those words without making her mom feel offended.
Irene frowns, she's hurt because she doesn't even know her daughter's favorites are, nevertheless she still tried her best to not make it obvious.
"Oh, i-im sorry I thought it was still your favorite." Irene said with her low voice, she smile at Kate weakly.
"No worries at least alam mo na and also, thank you for this, masarap pa din naman siya." Kate exclaim as she grab the box of donuts from her mother's hands.
Irene smiled, "You're welcome, I also bought a coffee, do you want some? Here, this is for you but I don't know if you still like this." she uttered, hesitantly.
"Thanks, still my favorite." Kate answers, she smile at her lightly before she heads to the table, Kate invited everyone to eat. After they ate, Kate excused herself from them and went outside of the room, not knowing that Janella decided to follow her.
"What do you want?" Kate asked calmly as soon as she realized that someone was following her.
"Kate, can I have a favor?" Janella asked which made Kate shocked, what could this lady wants. She just respond a question look to her and motions her to continue.
"Can you please convince mommy to attend my recognition?" Janella desperately said, Kate then raised her brows.
"Oh wow, you'll make me do that for you? Why, sino ka ba for me to do that?" Kate profoundly said, it irritates her whenever someone asked for a big favor and can't do it herself.
"You know and you can see that I don't have a good relationship with my mother tapos you'll told me that you want me to convince her? Firstly, if mommy wants to go to your recognition she will kaya kung ayaw niya don't force her. Pumunta ka ng mag-isa, that simple tapos ang problema mo." Kate added emphasizing the word my mother, Janella impassively looked at her.
"She won't kasi iniisip niya kung kaninong event siya aattend, and the only way for mommy to attend mine is for you to tell her na wag nalang siyang pumunta sa recognition mo, total sabi mo naman hindi mo na siya kailangan diba?" Janella irritatedly said, Kate responded a laugh.
"Poor you, are you scared? Wala akong gagawin, it's up to her kung kaninong recognition yung pupuntahan niya, she's an adult anyway." Kate uttered, straight forward.
"Convince her, tignan lang natin kung mapapapayag mo siya." Kate added as she wink, she was about to walk away when Janella pulls her hair and of course, Kate won't tolerate her actions she fought back, pulling her hair too.
"Attention Seeker!" Janella shouted.
"Baka ikaw, you brat! Wala ng ibang ginawa kundi gulo!" Kate defended.
"Hey! Stop it, ladies ano ba!" Bongbong shouted, running towards the ladies with Irene. Bongbong gently pulls Kate to stop her and Irene with Janella.
"Ano ba! What's happening?" Bongbong asked them sternly, Kate glares at Janella.
"Eh kasi po tito bigla nalang po akong hinablot ni Kate." Janella denies, head is bow.
Kate raised her brow, "Tito-dad, you know that I can't do that. She's the one who pulled my hair first!" Kate defended.
"Sinungaling, I was just asking you about something tapos sinabunutan mo ko!" Janella denies again, Irene is confused, she doesn't know who will she believes. Meanwhile, Bongbong is definitely sure that his niece won't do such thing kung wala naman itong ginawang masama sakanya.
"Pumasok kayo sa kwarto, dun tayo mag-uusap." Bongbong seriously utters which made Janella nervous, Imee's there to defend Kate. The four of them went inside the room.
"What happened to you 'nak? Why is your hair messy?" Imee asked, Borgy was also shock to see his cousin's situation. Good thing that Imelda has already left with Matthew and Michael, but Imee and Borgy was more shocked when they also saw Janella who's hair is messy too.
Imee immediately changed her mood into a serious one, this is now about her legitimate niece versus her illegitimate niece.
"What happened?" Imee asked firmly, looking at Janella and Kate.
"E, sabi ni Janella sinabunutan daw siya ni Kate, manang." Bongbong told Imee which made her raise her eyebrow, Bongbong is sitting beside his niece.
"This, I'm pretty 100 percent sure that my niece won't do that." Imee calmly said because she knows that she's sure.
"Pero yun po yung nangyari-
Imee didn't let her finish, "Darling, you won't succeed if your not honest. Kilala ko ang pamangkin ko, I knew her since the day na lumabas siya kay Irene kaya I'm sure na hindi siya gagawa ng ganyan and also, do you think an educated woman would do that? Remember, she's studying law and she's an Marcos-Araneta." Imee defends Kate, Janella bows her head, this sucks, she thinks. Kate was just looking at Janella, she was already laughing in her mind.
"I told you Janella, stop playing the victim card. Hinding-hindi yan gagana sa isang katulad mo, I pity you dear." Kate annoyingly uttered, Janella responded a glare which Bongbong has caught.
"Tsk." Bongbong whispered, he's disappointed with her already.
