Broken Promises

Today is Kate's 18th; her debut.

Her party will be held in Luxe Destination Shangri-La the Fort Manila. The decorations were indeed lovely, elegant and extravagant. It has started already and it's now time to hear the messages from the people whom she loves and important to her, people who are close to her heart.

"To start, let's welcome and hear the message of the debutant's tita-mama, Senator Imee Marcos!"

Imee stood up and went to the stage to give her message to her most favorite lady in the family.

"Happiest Birthday to my love, my Kate who has always been and will always be my baby girl.. I am so proud of how strong you are love, I will always be here for you forever, mama loves so much you know that because that's not a secret. You are like a daughter to me, thank you for giving me a chance and for making me feel how it's like to have a daughter. Always choose happiness, I will support you in everything as long as it is good for you and for your future. You are now eighteen, you are now a fine and finally a legal woman but even though so it doesn't mean that you won't be listening to us na hmm still seek for our opinions when deciding on important matters, kahit eighteen kana you will always be our baby my love, our only baby girl. You have always made us proud and I won't be tired on repeating how proud we are and how thankful we are for you, I'm just one call away okay? No boyfriends first, know your limits not so young lady. Happy Birthday again and I love you so so much." Imee messaged, she then kissed her niece' forehead and hug her tightly.

"Thank you ma, I love you.." Kate said, teary-eyed.

"What a sweet message came from Senator Imee, The next one to give a message will be the debutant's grandmother, no other than Madame Imelda Marcos!"

Imelda slowly walked infront with the assistance of Borgy.

"Happy Birthday to our answered prayer, only hija in the family, a sweet, caring and soft-hearted lady I know, you're now finally turning into a woman yourself. "To my favorite girl among the rest, my forever baby and will always be a baby in my eyes, I remember the first time I held you in my broad arms, I was mesmerize with your small smiles, cute fingertips, chubby and pinkish cheeks and lips, as I recall, I can't help to think where did that baby go? Was it really 18 years ago? Nonetheless, I know to myself that I cannot do anything to stop the time and remain the baby you was, however, I won't deny the fact and I'm proud to say that we have grew a lady who's certainly has a good and genuine heart for everybody, sweetheart, I hope that you won't get a boyfriend pa," that made everyone laugh, "Seriously, don't muna, focus on your studies first because I want you, we all want you rather, to be successful and get through life moderately easy, in second thought and in all honesty, I will say this in front of many people with a brave soul, Kate, if you find a guy you'll break my heart."
