Loki X Reader

Fear ran down your whole body. Your eyes were wide in amazement. Loki stood there next to you, instead of him looking at the battle, he stared at you, your stiff form in fright. His hand slipped into yours squeezing it tight, your skin was so cold. Green and yellow sparks flew, and a long swirl of colors wrapped around you two. You managed to snap out of the trance and notice what was going on. You look to your left and see Loki fading away. 'What the hell?' You thought. Your vision faded to black and was out like a light.

When you could finally see again, you saw yellow grass for miles, hills of it far out in the distance. Trees of orange and red leaves scattered the field with thin trunks. The air was quite warm with a cool crisp breeze as if the beginning or middle of autumn. It did look like Earth, but it could be just about any realm. "Loki where are we?! Where did Asgard and the war go?!"

"I'm so sorry. I panicked. I wanted to be with you a bit longer! I was scared that if we stayed you would have died! And well-...um...okay I love you, dammit! A lot to be in fact."

"What do you expect! Us to live here in the middle of absolutely nowhere, living happily ever after, while everyone we know and love are in the middle of a war?!" You screamed at Loki in fear and anger.

"You're the only one I love."

"Okay Loki! You may only love me, but I also love more people. I have a real family for the gods sake!"

When you said that to Loki and brought up the fact that he was adopted, it crushed his little heart. "You know you're actually lucky that I ever truly liked you. Normally it's always lies! Well you can forget our love because it's gone now. I hate you!" Loki screamed as his eyes teared up.

"Fine!"

You both stormed off in two different directions with hate growing in each other's hearts. Loki walked to the point where he was now on a hill next to a tree and sat down crying. He is now lonely with no friends, family, or lover. No one in the whole nine realms wanted him, won't even acknowledge him, or appropriate a single thing he does.

You ran until your legs couldn't anymore. So tired, lost, confused...sad. After you laid down and caught your breath. You took the time the rethink everything that just happened. Loki. He did everything for you. Even the first time that you two met. He gave you his warmth, his care and company, all the adventures, his love, his everything...himself. He also cared so much that he spared your life so that he could be with you even longer. And you just treated him like shit a minute ago and never once said thank you for being there. You felt so terrible and began to sob quietly to yourself.

When you let some emotions out, you got up and walked forward to see if anyone was out there and hopefully find Loki. While walking you saw a body laying on the ground with black curled hair, it was obviously Loki by wearing all the green as well. But wait...how was he so close when he went the other direction earlier?

"Loki?"

*no answer, just weeping*

"I just want to say that I'm deeply sorry, I'm sorry about the way I've acted towards you. I never really truly thought about my actions...do you forgive me?" You said while kneeling down picking his head up to the point where he was now looking at you.

"Do you mean it?" Loki wasn't really that mad at you because he loved you too much.

"Yes, my love."

Loki got up on his knees and hugged you tightly. "I'm sorry!"

"I'm sorry too." Loki wiped the tears off your cheek with a small smile. The sun was a low, beautiful, golden, orange falling behind the trees. The long field of endless grass became dark, but then suddenly became light again on the other side. It seems that you and Loki were in a world that never ended, if you walk straight then you'd be at where you began again, the sun would set and rise again in one second.

While the world became light you and Loki laid next beside each other cuddling, thinking of what you two would do about Asgard. The love between you and Loki grew stronger. He held you close to his thin body comforting you. You and Loki stayed there for hours talking, and spending the last few peaceful moments with each other. Finally the time came for you two to head back to Asgard and finish this battle once and for all. Loki stood and helped you up.

"I know I don't have much to offer but would you expect me for who I am and my love to you?"

"Yes of course, I love you sweetheart."

Loki knelt down on one knee. "(Name) will you marry me?"
