"I got it cheap at a thrift store then took it to my shop to make adjustments." She explained as the three of us walked down the street, Gogo directing us as she looked down at her phone.
That's when we could hear it.
I felt my heart sink into my stomach as the noises started getting louder and louder, and I couldn't have been more grateful that I had added a red veil to my costume to cover the lower half of my face. I pulled it back up over my nose quickly, feeling my face morph into a grimace as I looked at our final destination.
"Why...are we at a fucking house party?" I turned my head to look at the giant estate, which was littered with people, music being played outrageously loudly, and one too many beer cups covering the lawn of the house.
"Sweet, cheap alcohol. If you need me I'll be on my phone and in the kitchen." I snapped my head towards Gogo who pulled her mask down and walked off immediately, leaving me and Honey Lemon.
"I'm going to find Fred! I love parties!"
Nevermind...it was just me now.
"Rem...power on." I murmured, feeling slightly lightheaded from the amount of people that I was seeing in the estate. Though it stopped just above my knees, I tugged on the bottom of my dress, feeling slightly conscious of what I was wearing now that there were so many people around me. I can't kick in this fucking outfit, god damnit Fred why did you have to do me dirty like this.
I had decided to dress up as a demon, or demoness, I suppose. Considering that everyone would keep making jokes about me having a devilish personality, I figured it would be albeit of a funny surprise. It was a last minute outfit I threw together, featuring a crimson-coloured silk dress I owned and a black corset around my torso. I wore red heels that had ankle straps, and I even went as far as spraying red hair dye over the blue in my hair, which was tied in a high ponytail. Combined with the heavy eye-makeup, I didn't look very recognisable which I see now is probably a good thing. Rem was dressed as a little hell spawn, with black body paint, false bat wings and his features now being displayed in red. Unlike me, he seemed extremely excited at the concept of the party, and was vibrating excitedly from next to me as I took a few moments to mentally prepare myself.
"It's a party! I've never been to a party like this. Or you! This looks like fun!" Rem chirped happily, and hovered in front of my face with a smile. "Do you think Baymax and Mini-Max are here?" He asked, and I shrugged, biting my lip with a frown as I walked up the drive, ignoring the people around me as I focused on finding either Fred or Hiro. If I found Fred first then I would do the honour of slapping him silly for not notifying us that we would be at a house party, and if I found Hiro I would be sticking by him until we could go seeing as I knew him. Well, if I found him or any of our other friends.
I took out my phone from my bag, finding an empty spot by a wall and standing next to a giant potted plant to try and find some privacy to send a text to him. Checking to see if he was already here as well.
