REQUESTED ON TUMBLR! prompt- You are days away from going into labor with your and Joseph's first child. The day you two get into a big argument, you essentially make him get out of the house. Only for your water to break immediately after his departure. The issue? You're stubborn and don't want him near you until you need him right before the birth of your child.
IM BACK LOVES! i was on holiday so sorry for the lack of posting. couldn't think of a huge argument but i guess what i came up with was fine. honestly awful and probably has a lot of mistakes but i guess enjoy loves <3
EDIT- please don't forget to vote, i appreciate you all 🫶you were 5 days past your due date and honestly you were over it. you were tired, annoyed, in pain and just over being pregnant. you could barely walk from how swollen your feet were, you had to get Joseph to help you stand up from the sofa and bed so if you needed to pee in the night you'd have to wake him up making him tired which made him tired and your hormones were all over the place, making you have the worst attitude. you were sat on the sofa, legs up on the coffee table as you watched 'Orange is the new Black'. Joseph was upstairs doing god knows what when you were desperate to go to the bathroom.
you hated asking Joseph to help but you literally could not get up on your own. "Joseph" you shouted as you paused the tv. you waited for a response but didn't hear one so you decided to shout again. "Joseph could you come help me please?" waiting for the reply again.
"wait y/n" he replied, annoyance laced in his tone. you'd never heard him speak to you like that. obviously, as well as you, he was bored of waiting for the baby and he was tired. he was tired because you'd wake him up at least 6 times in the night and it was difficult for him to get back to sleep.
you heard him walking down the stairs and into the living room where you were sat, trying to get up. "please help me up, i really need the toilet" you said, pleading eyes. he sighed and walked over to you putting his arms out for you to take. he helped you up and you walked to the bathroom to do you business and came back to see Joseph in the sofa with his head in his hands. today you were feeling a lot better than yesterday. yesterday you were in the most pain you'd ever been in, you had pains in your lower stomach and back but today there had only been a few pains here and there.
"Joey, you okay?" you said standing in front of him. he sighed and looked up at you, his hand moving to scratch the back of his neck. " 'm just stressed, tired and it's not you but getting up in the night to help you up just makes me more tired." he said, making your blood boil.
he was stressed? he was tired? he wasn't the one carrying a watermelon. he didn't have to get help every time you needed to go to the toilet or get your shoes on or get help getting up. the hormones moved through your body making anger swirl in your stomach.
"you're tired? Joseph you aren't the one who's been carrying a child for 9 months. you aren't the one who needs to be helped all the time and i understand you can be stressed but there's no way you can be tired from a few weeks of you waking up a few times in the night to help me. i'm the one who has to push this thing out of me and you were the one who wanted a kid and said you'd be with me through anything and that you wouldn't care what you had to do for me. are you serious Joseph?" you said, anger laced in your tone. Joseph rolled his eyes and scoffed, standing up to face you.
"yes in serious y/n. i'm sick of this honestly. i have interviews i need to be doing not caring for you like i'm some kind of slave. you're so fucking clingy. it's like i can barely breathe when i'm around you. you're annoying and just all around fucking boring now that you're bigger. now leave me alone y/n. you're really annoying me" he shouted, voice a lot louder than yours. you flinched at his outburst but stood your ground, sick of his attitude. "if i'm so clingy and you can barely breathe then get out. leave right now Joseph" you said calmly, not wanting to get the stressed inside you. the last thing you'd want is for your baby to feel stressed at such a young age.
