hello my loves i hope you're all doing amazing! so here is probably the last part to my infertile series i hope you have all enjoyed it! i may (if requested a lot) do a part 5 which is based in the future but idk if i will yet. probably has a few mistakes. I MADE UP NAMES FOR JOSEPHS FAMILY!!! anyways, enjoy my loves <3

after you took the test and it came out positive you immediately booked an appointment with the midwife to make sure. she did a blood test, ultrasound and a urine test and everything showed that you were in fact pregnant. you'd never been happier. seeing the little blob on the ultrasound machine made your heart fill
with such joy that only you could describe. and that was a few months ago. you were now officially 7  months pregnant and your bump had grown a lot.

seeing your body grow and change was so fascinating. your hand would always be on your baby bump, feeling your little baby wriggle and kick was the most amazing thing and in all honesty when you gave birth you were definitely going to miss your bump. that was where you could keep your baby safe and allow it to grow into the most beautiful human. everyone in both yours and Joseph's family were practically dying to know the gender of the next grandchild but you and Joseph wanted to wait for the perfect moment to find out.

even though you were grateful for this little bean which was with you now, you couldn't help but feel guilty about the angel you lost. whilst being pregnant you felt scared that you were going to lose this baby and you took every precaution for that to not happen. with the last pregnancy it didn't last this long but you still carried a child and just the thought of losing this one made you anxious. you were getting ready for a day out with Joseph's family, feet hurting as you walked around the bedroom trying to find an outfit that looked nice and fit you comfortably.

you settled for leggings, an oversized hoodie and some uggs. your feet had started to swell as soon as you hit 28 weeks which hurt a lot. you looked like a penguin waddling when you walked which made you feel stupid but Joseph thought you looked beautiful with your bump. Joseph loved seeing you pregnant, your skin was glowing, your eyes looked brighter and happier and just overall you looked more beautiful which he thought was impossible. "you ready sweetheart?" he asked as he saw you sat on the bed trying to catch your breath.

you had put on little to no makeup, mascara and eyebrows and your hair was down and slightly curled. "yeah just give me a second" you said, hand on your belly which was protruding through your hoodie. Joseph walked towards you, arms extended as he let his hands reach out to you. you took ahold of one of his hands and he helped you stand up straight.  "we really don't have to go out y/n. if you're in pain i'd rather you rest" he said, leaning in to kiss your cheek. you shook your head. you were desperate to go out for some food and a walk around the park would probably do you good.

"i want to go. i fancy a burger" you said, mouth watering at the thought of a burger right now. Joseph laughed loudly before you both started walking to the car. the stairs were your worst enemy at the minute, walking down them made you out of breath. walking up them made you out of breath. you honestly couldn't win. once you reached the bottom of the stairs you had to stop to catch your breath again. after catching your breath you waited for Joseph to grab the keys off the counter before he came back and you both walked to the car.

Joseph helped you into the car before he walked around to the drivers side. "you excited?" Joseph asked, his hand finding your bump as he drove to the diner. "yeah it'll be nice to see the kids and your mum. she messages me everyday to ask how the baby is so it'll be good to see her in person." you replied, hand moving to go on top of his, feeling your baby kicking your belly vigorously. you hadn't seen Joseph's mum for three months due to being busy with appointments, baby shopping and meetings with work before you went on maternity leave.
