Chapter 15:Akshara's Birthday

Recap: Harshvardhan is upset about Akshara's return. Akshara meets Reem. Abhira have lunch with Singhanias who then plan to celebrate Akshara's birthday in a grand way.

Singhanias got very busy. They had been aware of Akshara's birthday and had prepared beforehand but with Naitik's sudden decision of making it bigger than ever made them work twice as hard. They roped in Abhimanyu and the family in Gujarat. Kairav contact Akshara's friends. Everyone was invited and those who could not make it were asked to send in a video message.

Work was divided but Vatsal had the toughest job of all! Keeping Akshara distracted! She had just met her maternal family and wanted to know each and everyone better. She didn't know they weren't available that day. Finally Karan stepped in to help Vatsal. They first asked Akshara to unpack and arrange her belongings in the room. They were purposely slow and even arranged stuff wrong so that Akshara will take twice the time arrange everything. By then, most of the work was done.

Akshara then had evening snacks with everyone but she found them a little distracted. However they flipped the topic and escaped her questions.

Karan: Snacks ho gaye...chal bhai Vatsal, lg jaate hai madam ko entertain krne...

Vatsal: fikar not! I have sorted everything ...

They took Akshara out to the academy. Akshara sat in the very cabin where she had cried her eyes out not so long ago. She had started her journey of letting go of her pain in that very cabin in front of her mother's portrait. She smiled.

Akshara: Last time mai yahan dil khol kr royi thi, aaj dekho...yaad bhi nahi vo baat mujhe, itni khush hoon mai mumma...but ek baat hai, mai na sbse pehle apko batana chahti hoon...maine apne career ko lekr faisla kiya hai mumma...

Akshara stayed in the cabin for long and Vatsal & Karan sat outside in the garden. They were relieved that Akshara was distracted here and now, they work didn't seem so tough. It was getting dark when Abhimanyu reached the academy. He saw the name and took blessings at the entrance that was built in memory of Akshara Singhania.

Karan: Abhimanyu yahan ???

Vatsal: Maine bulaya hai, he'll take Akshu on date! His duty to keep her busy now... (high fives)

Karan: sahi hai bro!

Akshara came out saw them.

Akshara: sorry sorry...mujhe na time ka pta nahi chala..

Vatsal: it's okay... (in mind: humare liye to accha hi hai)

Abhimanyu: Hi!

Akshara: Abhi? Tum yahan?

Abhimanyu: Yep! Let's go..

Akshara: Kahan?

Abhimanyu: pta chal jayega...chalo toh-

Vatsal: ghar ki tension mt le...unhe pata hai...

Akshara: Okay...

Abhimanyu hugged Vatsal before leaving and whispered in his ears.

Abhimanyu: (to Vatsal) Maine apne hisse ka kaam kr diya hai.....aur haan, cake deliver ho jayega....bs ek ghante me reminder call kr dena...maine number bhej diya hai...

Vatsal: (to Abhimanyu) Thanks bro...

Akshara: tum toh aise hug krke bye bol rahe ho jaise phir milne nahi wale...

Karan: Haan yr jiju mai bhi apka saala hi lagunga na... Vatsal ko special treatment kyu??

Abhira blushed.
