"Si! Si! Si!" Rosetta clapped her hands, laughing with me as I twirled around in the lace white dress that fell to my ankles. "Bellissima!"

That meant beautiful and I smiled at her as I looked at myself in the mirror of her cute boutique. The dress felt romantic on my skin as the lace flowed beautifully down to my ankles. It was flowy and perfect for a night wedding.

Alex and I had both woken up with a massive smile on our faces and the idea of getting married hadn't just been adrenaline. Alex had kissed me and said according to the traditions, he wasn't allowed to see me so he had left, saying he expected to see me at the courthouse close by. I wanted to wear a white dress.

Rosette clapped her elderly hands and I looked at her again as she motioned for the long veil and I shook my head. "No. Uhm-"I tried to remember the words I had been learning. "Semplice." Simple.

"Si. Si." She nodded her head, holding out the red flower bouquet I had gotten and she held my arm, saying something I didn't understand. Rosetta was a woman who always joined me dancing in the night and she ran her own wedding boutique which I knew I would get the perfect dress from.

"Are you coming with me?" I asked, trying to use my hands to help her understand because English was a language most of them did not understand.

"Si." She nodded her head and I smiled, walking out of her shop. The night sky shone brightly under me as I walked up the street, Rosetta walking side by side with me, talking and trying to explain something to me but I understood none of it.

I had spent the day pampering myself, showering, getting my nails done, having my hair curled into soft romantic curls whatever that had meant.

"Cara." She tapped me on my shoulder and I looked at her as she motioned something to her mouth before pointing towards me.

"Si." I nodded my head and she nodded her head back patting my stomach gently and I chuckled. "Yes, I'm hungry."

She smiled widely before pointing ahead and I turned to follow her gaze as I let out a soft breath, staring at the flowers that had been decorated outside the dancing bar I had been spending most of my time in. The courthouse was a few doors away, a small office that we would quickly sign some papers in and then celebrate at the same place we spent our nights.

Rosetta held my arm and I smiled as we walked past the chairs and tables outside the bar and the speaker playing an Italian song inside. I glanced inside just to see Dylan taking a sip of a drink and I quickly stopped walking, pointing towards him at Rosetta.

"Dylan!"I called out to him, a familiar face. I quickly walked towards the door just as he saw me and an instant frown appeared on his face as he quickly got up from his chair and walked towards me. "I didn't know you would be here."

"Don't tell me you're the one getting married." He pulled out his phone from his pocket before looking over my shoulder and speaking to Rosetta in Italian who answered him back enthusiastically.

"What happened?" I asked, looking in between them with a frown on my face.

"That's my Rose." He answered, muttering a curse as he tried to ring someone. "Fucking hell Rafael."

I crossed my arms. "One, what do you mean your rose, and two, why are you calling Rafael?"

He looked at me, mimicking my stand. "Rose is my grandma from my mama's side and I'm ringing Rafael because you're getting married. He should know."

"No."I shook my head. "He's going to tell everyone and I want to surprise them by taking a picture." I smiled. "I haven't told anyone yet."

Dylan nodded his head. "I'll be at the bar." He said something to Rosetta in Italian before walking back inside and I knew he was telling Rafael as he placed the phone near his ear.
